  1. I'm ears. Where do I learn? Volatility sounds just like it sounds. Is there a way to make some money? Show me the way.
  2. Some guy, no clue if accurate says only 2 cities actually don't have all that. OKC and Portland. Idk
  3. I'm a southern Indiana kid. Let me tell ya, I was as unruly as it got. DD throws anything g and everything at the wall to see if it sticks.
  4. He's announcing retirement pre B1G tourney. He's not quitting.
  5. I doubt he would participate in a coaching search until the current ship has totally sunk. At this point it will be a very last second step off. Love you brother.
  6. As we've hashed before. The DA of Austin is likely one of the biggest liberals in the state of Texas and would love nothing but a notch on their belt of taking out a raging egotistical man. If there was enough on scene evidence on the woman's body to take things forward, they 100% would have. The truth is likely somewhere in between. She does sound like a crazy b from everything I've read. If he's hired by IU I trust he's cleared their investigation. The chances of him coaching at IU are maybe 10% imo.
  7. I thought of you with all that signage going up all over the place. Even tried to see if i could recognize you amongst guys doing work one day downtown.
  8. Did I miss Leal? I mean who wouldn't use a scholarship on that guy? Unless he's launching his real estate empire in and around Indy and he's going to freaking Butler.
  9. Man I really hope so. The odds are tremendously stacked against him. I can't remember if it was posted here but i read an article about that injury. Evidently you have to push through severe pain in rehab for iirc over a year up to 2 years. And most guys can't. I think with more and more research and techniques of mind and body training, things such as daily ice baths, this meditation stuff, pain management, I do have hope. Now to expect him to contribute next year, even if all that has fallen into place. No. He's like the 13th scholarship of expectations.
  10. The parlay odds on that would be like 1 in 2 trillion chance.
  11. Let's go ahead and blame Calbert and Hulls for our poor shooting while we're at it.
  12. Let's not get carried away. He was gifted a classic Ferrari in perfect condition with a full tank of premium. They got hot and had a great end of season stretch but they were on the bubble much of that year before getting rolling iirc. Last year. Blame it on Love. Sure This year. The Ferrari and all of its support systems are full go after reloading. We will see if IU is capable of getting better support systems and putting premium back in this old thing.
  13. That's fine but the poster called him 3 different names in one sentence. That was low quality shite posting at its finest.
  14. What did you want him to say. I'm a loser and sorry coach. I'm going to quit on these guys now for the good of the program?
  15. You officially and respectfully have your head in the sand. Either that or you purposefully aren't paying attention.
  16. You seriously aren't concerned with how lost he has sounded?
  17. Idk,even my high school coaches would break down film almost immediately. We had shoot around or practice the very next morning so they had to prepare. Others can feel free to chime in on this. Obviously not having a calm mature experienced bucket getting ball handler has basically train wrecked the season. What is he supposed to say? I made it simple. Competent answers. Anyone who has ever had to do a lot of public speaking knows there are times when the words are flowing and you sound like a genius and other times you can't get the flow going and you feel like you sound like an idiot. He just recently held a stat sheet in his hand that said we shot like 52% from the field and he said we lost because we didn't hit shots. There has been some borderline Kenny Payne moments recently that even us rose colored glasses guys grimace and cringe at. Like calling Reneau awful. Maybe he knows what buttons to push with him but the coach and system, if there is one, has to put guys in position to succeed as well. I have no clue what billionaires say or do. The people I know with lots of money are in the 10-40 million dollar net worth range. And most of them have pretty large egos and high opinions of their own opinions. Can't imagine that diminishes the more filthy rich you get. Think guys like Jerry Jones and Jim Irsay. When they have an idea or opinion, it's likely going to happen according to their plan, not a guy making $626,000 to be an atheltic director. Future. I've said this thing is correctable but man. If we manage to bring some alphas in here handling the ball next year, taking and getting the shots. We still gotta rebound and defend at an ymca or 5th grade pe class level. Cupps has a lot of ways to go. If he can make a big jump he can be a 15 minute guy next year on a top 25 team. 2nd unit leader. He's not a starter next year. If we run that back, I'll have to sharpen the tips of my pitch fork. Guys can and should grow. We've put ourselves in such a bad light with style of play the last three years, basically the opposite of what Crean did. He never wavered off his desired system, regardless of personnel. We have no clue what the system is, what the defense is supposed to look like consistently. Offense is definitely not a 4 out. Defensive rating has slide each year. Blame it all on X not leading the point of attack, ok. Why are old sophomores still lost? Why is blocking out non existent 30 games into the season. So many red flags are now waiving, not even rose colored glasses can keep my 5 year old from seeing it.
  18. I grew up with a guy that was a manager under Crean. He said during season the staff and support staff was dropping 80-90 hours a week regularly in season. I would assume, most coaches eat with the team and families that came into town, kiss the wife, and go back and watch the tape. Win or lose. Now it's a huge if on the when where what that we will never know. Dolson knows. I guess we will see if my 'retirement' guess plays out. Hate to see it. I was in very early on the Woodson train. But it will take a miracle to fix this. Forget cigars. I want to see blockouts, quick passing to move the defense and make them do something other than just stand there, and moving without the ball. Competent answers at a press conference. Anyways. Good luck keeping up the good fight. I respect you as a man, poster, veteran, etc. You stuck with Archie while his ship burned too.
  19. Yet. Romeo was a difference case. Clearly injured enough to need surgery, that doesn't count. I don't follow every team that goes nit, cbi or any other trash end of season tourney. It's bound to happen eventually. If it hasn't already and it was so low key, non ncaa tourney guy, it didn't even catch wind on the radar, like 2nd rounder or not even drafted guy. It's my opinion. It's your opinion. It's actually a guess.
  20. It happens like 100 times a season in football. It's probably only a matter of time before it trickles over to basketball. I'm not sure what else he will show by playing 6 plus games. Other than heart, which is important to me and fans but agents and evidently NFL gms don't give hoot.
  21. I'm actually surprised Ware hasn't shut it down yet. Probably only because he's worked so hard to shed the lazy label, he doesn't want a quitter label.
  22. My guess is Woodson has been asked to retire. Now it won't be public until after senior night. I could see an announcement being made right before the tourney and hopefully it inspires the guys to finally win that tournament. All of this is extremely unlikely. If it comes true, I'm going to kick myself for not grabbing a lottery ticket for tonight's drawing.
