  1. But that is not Kentucky per say that is generating the money. Those guys would garner that attention (no matter which school ) because of their rating and exposure before reaching Kentucky. They gained that exposure on the AAU Nike or adidas circuit. Major Universities will have people already set up to help them gain from their likeness. Each Major University will be able to say this shoe company will use your likeness. This is why I said the national market is a wash. Will the national market play a roll? Yes, but the separation between Kentucky and Indiana is not as great as some think. It may even help Indiana, because now we can use Adidas money that was before forbidden. Money many think Duke and Kentucky have been using behind the NCAA's back. Now every major program has excess. The top tier guys will make that money wherever they end up and Kentucky, Duke, and Kansas no longer have control of all the money. Just my thoughts. Go Hoosiers!
  2. I would not think that Kentucky would be able to match Indiana in NIL money. Louisville is their major market for adds and they share it. Coal money from the coalfield area is drying up. I think a lot of money for NIL will come from regional markets. I bet the national markets will be fairly even for the big boys. Also Kentucky as a state has about half the population of Indiana.
  3. Then there is a good chance I know you, since I have known him since we were young.
  4. Yes, the Garcia’s will do what is best for their family and deserve the rewards of hard work. I will wish them best whichever school they pick. Hoping it is IU.
  5. Steve Green as mentioned several times. I was slow to respond.
  6. Yes, Someone from the crowd asked and that was his reply. He got choked up talking about the fans and players. It was a get reunion. You got to see how the players view each other as family and how the community embraced them. I wish the Garcia family was there. It would have showed them the extended family they could be joining. Family is the word tossed around by those I spoke to during the event.
  7. Great day yesterday! I had not been to the Bluebird in twenty years and happy to see the new Yogis open. Sorry for the middle age dude talking during all the pictures, but how many times do you get to talk to coach Ohstrom, AJ Moye, and Derek Elston. Also the Leals are the nicest people. It says a lot about the direction of the program when you include such great families. Class acts!
