Woodson built this mess of a roster.
Came in saying 4 out, 1 in offense and he constructs 1 out, 4 in.
The nba coach angle only helps recruiting for a short while if you are crap at actual coaching
This is the correct answer. We have talent, but it’s all inside - and the talent we do have in the guard position can’t be utilized correctly because we are so thin there.

Indiana plays our 4th game of the year at UCLA. Hoping they are still integrating new kids and new schemes (I know we will be as well) but that should improve our odds of winning out there.
Ucla fans were literally flying banners over the stadium to fire Chip Kelly; it’s not going to be better with any new coach that quickly; I like our chances.
We actually moved to Arizona last year, so we are already planning on going to that game.
I think there’s a very good chance ucla fans will be outnumbered by opposing big ten fans at nearly every game.

I’m also. But, they are running and passing quickly and we are unable to keep up. They killing us right now.
Im not saying we aren’t playing like trash, it’s just an exercise in extreme frustration for me to watch Purdue get away with murder and then to have their fans try to justify it ad Infinitum

Yes 100% if Edey uses his off arm to clear space like Sparks did, and it hits someone in the face, it should absolutely be a flagrant.
If they actually enforced this rule with him the way it is written, he would be ejected from just about every game.

Gallo for his leadership, defense, and oh yeah...25 points, 19 in the 2nd half. 4 assists, a steal, and some boards.
At-a-boys for Leal, Malik, Ware.
GFY to the refs. 40+ fouls.
No doubt; there’s a reason there were like 7 players with 4 fouls at the end of the game
-
Gotta be Galloway, but we also don’t win without Leal. I’d nominate him for “clutch” player of the game.

This team has been frustrating to watch this year, but you have to give them credit coming back from an 18 point deficit

It's a live ball if you don't call it, though.
All you gotta do is blow the whistle

Absolutely! Hate the "call it so we can review it" thing.
It should be: final two minutes - reviewable with no call on the floor

Really could go either way, so not sure how you can overturn it.
That’s the whole problem with the way this rule is implemented. Heavily slanted in the offense’s favor

Hate to pick on the kid but Mbako has had some of the worst sequences on defense that I think I’ve ever seen. The most basic things seem completely foreign. Hedging, helping, jumping to the ball……..all of it.
It’s not just that; he’s got no hustle or sense of urgency

I can’t think of any social media that you could objectively say is good to read or take part in

I didn't watch the game last night. I've watched both teams play before, and in terms of officiating, there has to be an in-between.
Edey clearly gets into the heads of officials. I will admit he's an anomaly to officiate, but that shouldn't be an excuse to let him do whatever he wants to do, and go where he wants to go.
On the other side, it's coaches like Collins that are not helping the league. I can't stand watching NW games because their guards get away with hand-checking and bulldozing though screens. It turns into mud pit wrestling. Apparently is was Collins strategy last night if he truly said that they were going to use all their fouls.
After seeing that box score, I want to say: good, NW finally got called out on their crap. BUT WHY does the beneficiary have to be PU, who lately, seems to be getting all the calls?
I don’t think it’s so much that NW didn’t foul a lot: they did.
It’s that Purdue never gets called for it. It’s delusional to think that a D1 basketball team playing a game the other team is making as physical as possible can go nearly halfway through the second half without being called for a single foul.

That’s honestly worse than the still frame. Good example of the kind of stuff he gets away with on a regular basis.

There is absolutely no way this can be explained away with anything other than gross incompetence or it was rigged.
46 attempts to 8 attempts is absolutely absurd. I don't care if Purdue had Shaq, MJ, LeBron and Kobe, a 38 attempt discrepancy can't be explained.
Purdue fans are delusional about this. They honestly believe this outcome is nothing more than the result of “how they play drop coverage defense under Painter.”
It’s okay to admit that you got the beneficial end of the whistle. It doesn’t make you less of a fan.
Like I said earlier, this kind of officiating is hurting Purdue come tournament time.
