Not exactly the same thing since they were going pro and not transferring, but it makes me not read too much into it.

I would think that would be the main kicker.  I know leaving is leaving, but actively looking to join a direct competitor vs weighing your options on iu or nba is a big difference. I REALLY would love to see Arman back at iu next year!  But i would think a "💩  or get off the pot" discussion would be had sooner than later.

I'd say Jerome's biggest asset is his ability to shoot the 3. Add Parker to the lineup along with Johnson, who shoots better than Lander or Rob, then the 3 point shooting is improved. I'd trade Brooks' defensive ability to switch and guard multiple positions. Just my own opinion.

Totally makes sense. My only fear would be that we end up with Smith, who admitidly had a hell of a year, 2.0 and teams will be daring him to shoot while clogging the lane and helping off to actual shooters.

It's guna be interesting at the very least to see how all this plays out!

I always felt Race was the top candidate to leave just based on TJD returning and the style Woodson wants to play.

To put a combo of TJD, Armaan, Stewart, potentially Brooks too would be a pretty good lineup. Add Johnson or Lander as PG and look out.

So are we sure Brooks would be an upgrade over Hunter?  I have watched 0 seconds of Brooks play so i have no clue. I do know that Hunter has the ability to take his defender in the post as well as be one of our better shooters outside (not a real high bar, i know).  Does Brooks have that same or similar skill set?

Do you know the "order of offer"? I mean, is it we offer Turner & Fife and if one turns us down we move to Lewis or is it Lewis & Fife and turn to turner... we call simultaneously and the first 2 to accept...

It almost sounds like this should move to the recruiting page. 🤣

Big surprise coming!  The players play and the coaches coach.  Woody's players will give it all on the floor.  Players know when a coach believes in them and coaches know when the fans believe in them.  Stop bitchin and let's move this train forward.

Welcome to the board!!!   I do fear that with a name like yours tho you will have a rough time here. We rarely us logic at all, let alone first!!!  🤣🤣🤣

  6. With what he has said about wanting players to guard multiple positions and everyone being able to shoot from outside, im hoping to see something along the lines of Golden State from a few years ago.  Not exactly like it.  I understand GS had 3 of the best shooters in nba history on the team so i know it would have to be somewhat modified, but my point still stands.

I was looking at the roster and if we lose those 3 in the portal but keep everyone else then it is a good roster to start with.

    PG- Lander

2G- ? Hopefully get a great 6'5 shooting guard LEAL

    SF- Hunter

    PF- TJD GERONIMO

C- ? hopefully a 6'10 long and athletic center who can step out and shot outside TJD

    Bench

    RP

    Leal

    Galloway

    Geronimo

    Brunk

    Duncomb

If everyone on that list returns thats how id go.  We wont be tall, but we should run run run run run and just turn the game into a track meet.  Crean style but hopefully without the turnovers.

I want smith to be a Hoosier. We play them during the season. Dudes a stud, winner, and has that I’ll kick your ass attitude that’s not arrogant. Whomever mentioned Coverdale earlier...bingo. Minus the Budweiser 😂

I still think the reason we lost to Maryland is because it was the 1st game in at least 6 years he played sober. 🤣🍻

It’s a slim chance he goes first round. There’s so much that goes into the MLB draft that’s differed than other drafts and it’s to early to project. That’s said I would expect him to go in the top 5 rounds at least.

I would say going in the top 5 rounds of a 629 round draft is still pretty darn impressive!!!
