The 15th best player from 1980 is not better than the 2nd best player today. If he had not done so before, LeBron has passed MJ as the greatest ever this season. LBJ has MJ on size and strength. Mj's peak season in rebounds and assists is an average season for LBJ. As far as championships, MJ consistently had a better team around him in a less competitive NBA.

So, we can call the trade 'equal'.....well, except for that little Domantis Sabonis thing.

EJ shoots way too many 3's. He's really not a very good shooter. I don't care that he won the 3 point contest one year. He would be a much more effective player driving more and getting to the line.

I'm very curious to see if Yogi is still with the Mavericks next season. You have to think he has some appeal as a backup PG, but I can't help but think that Dallas is a perfect fit for him right now. Cody, on the other hand, needs a change of scenery.
