Time to fire this one back up again. Haven't looked at anything yet so no clue who the favorites are or even story lines for that matter. Good luck to those who partake tomorrow!

A whole lot of rain down here.  And, more on tap for tomorrow.  Might want to look to see if there are any mudders in teh field.

Still early, but the AL Central is the only division with 4 teams above .500. This division has been regularly crapped on by media and fans for years now. Maybe it's starting to come around.

I've had a soft spot for the Tigers since Sparky was manager.

Have to respect the heck out of the Guardians.  Consistently competitive. Year in and year out.

And, always a fan of a team that has a dream year after years of struggling, so I'm pulling hard for the Royals.

I'm really hoping the Cubs finish this gauntlet of a schedule with 3 of 4 from the Mets. On a different note and maybe it's all of the NL Central. Tomorrow will be our first game (Brewers) vs a NL Central opponent. I don't remember ever going a month deep into the season waiting to play each other.

Dropping from 18/19 games against division opponents to I believe it is 13 now with the play every other team in MLB at least 3 times a year has caused that.

No privates until the semi-state for us....

Beat Tell City, Paoli, Linton, and North Posey to get to the final 4. I'm good with that.

Just reviewed the new sectional assignments.  Have you guys started clearing space in the trophy case yet for 2 more sectional championship trophies?  Is it safe to say that Paoli is the only team in the sectional that should come within 5 TDs of Brownstown?

    What's the ultimate solution here?

They can't not show these games...

My understanding is that, if Bally does not offer the broadcast over any outlet, then MLB will take over 'ownership' of the broadcast and offer the games via stream with no blackout restrictions using the same announce teams as Bally.  At least, that's what was discussed last year when it looked like Bally would default.

Just turned on to watch the Reds but Bally Sports is no longer on Xfinity. On the screen it says Bally Sports is going through bankruptcy and Xfinity no longer has their rights to show it. That means no more Reds or Pacers games

That sucks.  Hope Direct TV is not impacted.  I thought Bally was in a better place than at this time last year.

Back in the day, raisins, candy corn, or anything homemade would get your windows soaped with paraffin 😁

Many years ago we were taking my son around when he may have been about 3.  Lady opens the door holding a bowl full of candy, which my son can clearly see.  Takes a look at him, deems him to 'young' for candy, goes to her kitchen, and comes back with an apple.  My son's face was priceless.  We still laugh about it today.

    It’s National Raisin Day!

Also for us Boomers it’s National Tie Dye Day

Raisins are the perfect thing to discourage trick-o-treaters on Halloween.  Do it for a couple of years, let word spread around, and the little ghosts and goblins will gladly skip your house in the future.

Heading to the Indians game Sunday with my wife, sister, daughter, and niece. They have a kids zone thing planned or whatever....

I think I am going to miss Skenes by one day :( ... pretty bummed haha

Driving home from Chicago.  Doesnt look like you're going to have very good weather.

I hope the next start in Indy is Skenes last.  He's taking up a roster spot on my Fantasy team.  Anxious for him to get the call.

My office is downtown Cincinnati about 4 blocks from Paycor Stadium, and I swear the Taylor Swift phenomenon must have been like what the Beatles or Elvis must have been like.  The two concerts were Friday and Saturday night.  There were people lining up Wednesday night for when the merchandise truck opened Thursday at noon.

    You waited that long?

  11. Was on my way to a great Grid, but settled for Kent and McCovey on my last two squares.  Bottom row of Hall of Famers don't total what I got on Travis Jankowski. Only on the Grid can that happen.

Now Bellinger has fractured ribs. Dang it man. Hendricks has been crap. Alzolay is a gas can. With all of the injuries and schedule to be 5 games over is honestly a blessing.

I hear ya, but can't feel overly sorry for Cubs Nation.

That's one-third of the Reds regular 9 that have not seen a minute yet this year.  Throw in that Encarnacion, Cendelario, Fraley, and India have all missed multiple games at some point, and the Reds lineup has been patchwork all year.

De La Cruz, Spencer Steer, Will Benson, and the two Catchers are the only projected regular contributors that have stayed healthy.
