Steubenhoosier
Very good player. HOF announcer. Passes at age 81. All my boyhood heroes are slowly disappearing 🥺
rico
I will always remember him as Carlton's personal catcher. RIP Tim
5fouls
I wasn't as big a fan as most of his announcing, but it was a voice of my youth.  RIP
IUFLA
First World Series I remember was 1964, Cardinals/Yankees... Bob Gibson was the MVP but McCarver had a great series hitting .478... I always loved his story of how he'd come to Gibson for a mound visit, and Gibson would say, "the only thing you know about pitching is, you can't hit it." RIP Tim
