Drroogh
Opening Ceremony tomorrow night! Who and what events will you be interested in? I like all events really, but focus more on Alpine skiing. Used to citizen race back in the day. 40 years later I'm still ducking my shoulder around corners like I'm ducking a bamboo gate. rico
To be honest in this day and age I don't even pay attention to them anymore. In 1980, I did.
Dr. Jones
I like any event where the winner is determined by a timer or tape measure. I don't care for events determined by a judges score.
hoosierfan615
I just love the Olympics! All the back stories leading up to the performances 😊 Same reason why I like The Journey—highlighting the back stories of the athletes.

5fouls
Alpine Skiing is my favorite winter event. I really like to see sports that I don't see anywhere else. Don't watch the Hockey in the Winter Games or the Basketball in the Summer Games. Swimming is the ultimate Olympic sport in my opinion.

Proud2BAHoosier
I was going to start an Olympic thread but Droogh has one going so...... No I have not watched 1 minute of them. Guest
US Men's curling beats Canada for the 2nd time this Olympics (had never beaten them before), and will play Sweden for Gold medal. Only once in Olympic history has US won a medal for curling--Bronze in 2006!

Guest
Awesome job by these guys. Had to win 5 straight matches to win gold. Our club can't keep up with all the interest from new people wanting to try curling 🥇🥇🥇
