2/20 vs. Miami (OH)

4pm first pitch. Wouldn't be surprised if they move first pitch to 3pm/330pm. 

 

Benes is a highly-rated kid out of HS. I'd expect him to throw 1-2 innings this evening. Maybe later on they'd let him go 3-4 innings, but I assume Mercer will want to get a lot of guys on the mound today. 

Either way-- cool a FR gets an opp like this so early in the year. 

The broadcast this weekend mentioned multiple times how much our staff likes Cal Sefcik, another FR, who started at DH yesterday. Wiggins ended up replacing him. I think Cal will be our 2B/3B next season, he's an INF.

I mean--- if you're going to schedule a home baseball game on Feb 20th in Indiana and you get a 55 degree day with sun... HAVE to play lol.. just glad we have turf!

Exactly, didn’t watch the game, but it looked like we were in full control after the 6th inning
