5fouls Posted April 16 Report Share Posted April 16 (edited) Holtzman was on 4 World Series Championship teams. A's in 72, 73, & 74. And Yankees in 77. He threw a lot of innings with the A's. I think 297 of them in one season. It would take the average starting pitcher 2 fill years to throw that many nowadays.
