CauseThatsMyDJ
http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/24199936/kansas-jayhawks-gonzaga-bulldogs-lead-espn-college-basketball-bpi-2018 For the unfamiliar, an explanation of how BPI operates can be found here, but the Cliffs Notes version is that it bases its preseason ratings on four factors: · Quantity of experience on roster. · Quality of that experience. · Recruiting rankings for incoming freshmen, with an extra emphasis on five-stars. · Coach's past performance. We show up 29th. Other notables: 8 - Wisconsin 13 - MSU 19 - Iowa 21 - Illinois 26 - Northwestern 37 - Purdue 38 - Michigan 42 - Penn State 43 - Minnesota 46 - Nebraska Pretty wacky. NotIThatLives
I think they missed a 2. 221 or 212, somewhere in that ballpark.

Happened to find out they had some bad data. Their Illinois roster still hadn't updated so they still have Michael Finke on the team even though he's transferred out. So maybe they haven't heard about guys like Leron Black leaving as well? BPI has always been garbage IMO and this kind of stuff further cements it in my mind.
