DC2345
In the last few days IU has added 3 PWO QB’s and offered a fourth one as well. Those guys are: Grant Gremel Noblesville High School, IN McCall Ray North Lawrence High School, IN Zack Merrill Andrean High School, IN Will Jontz from Brighton, MI (just offered)
Leathernecks
I know you can never have too many QB's, but it kind of worries me that we're adding all these walk ons. If we have Ramsey, Penix, and Tuttle all available, how many more do we really need? A couple to run scout teams, but what more than that? I just hope it is for depth for the scout team and not because Ramsey is transferring, Penix might not be ready, or Tuttle might be ineligible. It just seems weird to have so many within a few days. Hoosierinbham
I don't know anything about the individual quarterbacks, but hopefully it's for variety of styles for scout teams. Maybe a couple pro-style and two dual threats, with someone having the capability of running triple option. Not sure if anyone one now or in the next 4 years runs option, but we do play Nebraska. I know they're not full time triple option, but it's still Scott Frost and Nebraska. Just a thought.
