And I am sure you remember.... but this news can't help me think of Del Ray Brooks.... a former Co-Indiana Mr. Basketball... also from Michigan City who played for IU.... though things did not turn out the greatest for him... so he transferred. Played some pro ball, and coached LaLu afterwords for like 5 years or so. Nothing to do with basketball..... the mention of Michigan City brings back memories of me and my dad fishing for perch off of the long pier. As well as trips to Washington Park Zoo.
