Muddy River
Pete Dye passed away. He was one of if not the most talented golf course designers ever. Of particular note to IU fans, when he was asked to design one of the most popular courses in Lexington Kentucky, Pete added an IU logo bunker to the course. You can see a picture of the bunker in the link below. My kind of guy....RIP Pete. http://bluegrasspreps.com/bgp-break-room/which-ky-golf-122516.html
Zlinedavid
He was the Cy Young of course architects. Sawgrass. La Quinta Stadium. Crooked Stick. Blackwolf Run. Harbour Towne. Whistling Straits. Maybe not great but interesting: Brickyard Crossing. As for the IU bunker.....brilliance. Sheer brilliance. That's something an IU fan can only fantasize about. Seeking6
Legend in his field. Between The Fort, Plum Creek, French Lick and of course Crooked Stick I play his courses the most. Hard to reach the pinnacle in any profession and he certainly did.
