Ballard and his lip service to the building the trenches hasn't materialized in dominant units. Run game has been a massive disappointment. Pass protection is Swiss cheese way too often. No moves have resulted in significantly and consistently improving pass rush from the D line.

Colts are one game behind with 10 games to go. You sure are writing them off early.

Pretty much because they have played horribly in all 7 games. They have been down double digits in every divisions game and they are 1-3-1 against the worst division in football. They were gifted the game against KC, had to make a huge comeback to beat the Jags and won what probably was the worst game of the year against the Broncos.

Can they turn it around, yes but have you seen anything from this team that makes you think they can.

That what happens when you have the highest paid guard and right tackle and one of the top paid centers.  He paid big big bucks for a middle LB and 3 of those positions are the least important in football.

All you had to do was look at the players reaction and none of them were saying it hit the ground.  It was more like shit he caught it.

In real time, Frank made the right call.

Not sit on a computer and gloss over replays and judge decisions after the fact. Real time.

He made the desperation decision. That's what happens when you're always playing from behind and underachieving. Good job, Frank!

No I said it was dumb right when he made the decision

There are lots to be critical of with Frank…why are you obsessing over the one call. You realize he can only look at the field tv and go off what your booth tells you?? He doesn’t get to watch the tv feed.

It is just another thing in a long line of stupid decisions he has made since he has been out HC.

You realize we lost that game long before he made that call. It’s immaterial and it wasn’t he that made it. His spotter in the booth told him to make it. He likely never even saw a replay or even the play clearly. Again…I’m done with Frank…but let’s be honest it’s because of much bigger issues.

It was either his first or second year on opening day when he went for it on 4th and 3 at their 35 yard line in OT. That lead to a loss

Oh geez. Who cares…it was go for it or a certain tie. Man you choose the weirdest things to hold on to. How about the horrible play calling and inability to get his team motivated to start football games or be prepared…which shows itself on almost every play in the game…who cares about the 1 or 2 random coaching decisions to go for it on 4th down or challenge…there are literally 100 other plays each and every game that fall on coaching.

All that is a given

Then why pick out one call that had almost no effect on the outcome of the game to focus on? Plenty of other play calls and inability to out scheme our opponent to have issue with.

The biggest reason Frank should go is because of his record in division. Not just this year but since he has been here. If you can’t win the most important games on your schedule…against the teams that know you best and you know best then you’re just not a good enough coach or team. Fact is our division know exactly what we like to do and we should know them and they are beating us. You can’t be a good team if you can’t win in your division. We will never be a good team no matter who is behind qb with this level of coaching/play.

Turns out it didn't cost them any points.

Turns out that when even Mahomes gets pressure he makes some bad decisions. That last pass of his in the 1st half could have easily been a pick 6 the other way

Man I hate coach and player speak in post game press conferences. It is always the same, we need to watch the film, need to clean up our mistakes and figure out how to start better. It just rings hollow when you hear the same thing after every game. You either don't know what you are doing or don't know how to fix the problems.

Every year the Colts start the season off slowly and this year we start off the games slowly. We have been behind at the half 9 straight games and this team can't figure out how to solve that problem. This off season it was they started training camp practices later to be about the same time that games started.  Obviously that was the reason for slow starts. I have said all a long time major problem is they don't play their players enough during pre season games and don't give enough reps in training camp to your main players.
