bobtcat2
Does anyone understand how this happens? There are a whole bunch of teams ranked ahead of the Hoosiers in NET that are worse in Sagarin, Pomeroy, quality wins, eye test, etc. I know it's only part of the analysis for selecting the field but I can't understand where this junk comes from. madmax
The 58 ranking does not reflect our win over PSU.

Here’s a little refresher of the madness. Read it all the way through. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&cd=3&ved=2ahUKEwi45q_9qunnAhUugK0KHQlnAz8QFjACegQIDBAM&url=https%3A%2F%2Fbleacherreport.com%2Farticles%2F2867272-winners-and-losers-of-the-ncaa-mens-basketball-seasons-1st-net-rankings&usg=AOvVaw32iRdBjQ6K4vRGhUajwv2k
bobtcat2
First of all, a mea culpa. 58 was the old ranking. It improved to 52. But I'm looking at some of these teams ranked ahead of IU, and I've seen some of them play multiple times. And nobody could possibly think they're better teams. Utah State, East Tennessee, Liberty, USC, Providence, Alabama, Rhode Island and some others. USC is pretty offensive. I don't care what the formula is, if it says USC is better than IU, something isn't working. Thanks for the link though, it's a pretty informative article.
