IUfaninIllinois
There was an article that came out that said for certain NCAA sports there is the possibility of granting an extra year of eligibility. If this happens the NCAA has to make an exception on roster expansion right? If a school has 5 seniors leaving and being replaced with 5 incoming freshman is the NCAA really going to make those players transfer or the incoming freshman switch schools or have the coaches decide who they want more? I don't believe basketball is part of that consideration.

It’s definitely not I was just starting this topic for a general discussion about everyone’s thoughts but who knows what the NCAA is really thinking
madmax
From what I’ve read winter sports, like basketball, are under discussion. Most certainly if waivers were given to players for an extra year then scholarship caps would be raised accordingly.
