btownqb Posted May 11, 2021 Report Share Posted May 11, 2021 Friday 4pm- 66 10% chance of rain Saturday 2pm- 66 6% chance of rain Sunday 1pm- 68 12% chance of rain Sunday's game is on ESPN2 Biggest three games of the year, so far. Michigan has 2 excellent starters: 2.88ERA and 2.93ERA and then their Sunday starter has struggled some even though his ERA is respectable at 4.22, but they use that as usually a bullpen day, hoping that kid can get them 4 or 5 innings. Their team ERA is 3.92 which is very solid. They have 4 or 5 very nice bullpen arms, as well. Teams are batting .240 vs. UM. At the plate.. they're very balanced. Multiple guys w/4+ homers. They run a lot. 45-62 stealing bags. They're hitting .278 as a team. Michigan is a very good baseball team and well coached. IU's starters last weekend were brilliant. 26.2IP 4ER 32K 14H 7BB .... That's a 1.37ERA, 4.9H per 9, and a .80WHIP. We didn't have our best outing at the plate, but hopefully we can change that this weekend. We do have a full game lead on UM. Cannot get swept. 1-2 is meh... winning the series 2-1 would put us up 2 full games (technically 2.5 games since we'd have the tie breaker) on UM.
