  2. Being an NBA fan is dull sometimes. The Pacers put together a great team through money-balling it. Their star player gets injured. Meanwhile, LAL and NYK are dumpster fires for a decade (or longer, NYK) and will luck into star players (or multiple stars) because of geography. The NBA needs a hard cap.

  5. I see the Pacers resigning Thad and Bojon and one of Collison or Joeseph.

  6. I meant those to be Holidays numbers my bad, corrected my original post. Yeah they may not like it as not a lot of young talent. I think they would want young talent or expiring contracts in return so they could offer who they want this upcoming offseason

  7. I don't know, I think if you're Davis you want to go play with veterans, and does Dallas even have assets to get that done? The Pelicans would probably want Doncic in order to give up Davis.

  9. If Davis has been brainwashed by his agent and LeBron, that's all good, but one team lurking that I think would be great for him for the long haul would be Dallas. Teaming Davis with Doncic would be sick.

  10. Respectfully, nope. Unless you want to help out the Lakers in your own conference, you wait, with a one-year contract in hand, until the Celtics (and possibly others) come forward with a better offer for your team's future.

  11. What do you think the Pacers should do at the deadline if anything. I thought I saw a headline that Carmelo was in Indianapolis on Saturday but did not hear why he was in town.

  12. Looks like a 4 team race between Cleveland, Chicago, Phoenix, and New York for worst team in NBA with more than likely draft rights to Zion. Unless the Lakers offer up something unreal (like 3-4 first round picks which won't be higher than what 18-20 range?) I'm waiting to see which of the franchises I mentioned want to pony up the most 1st round picks. Davis is from Chicago so maybe they could package a ton of picks? We all know Davis wants LA but if I'm Pelicans I'm holding out.

  13. Lakers absolutely want to do it. But no reason for the Pelicans to help them.

  14. Fully agree. There is really no reason for the Pelicans to acquiesce to LeBron and the Lakers right now. Wait until the summer or next year, then you have the Celtics' offer, and maybe another team. Pels have AD for another full year under contract. Zero reason for them to help out the Lakers now.

  15. This is exactly what the guys on 97.5 said this morning. Wait till summer more offers more leverage.

  16. If I am the Pelicans I wouldn't trade him at the trade deadline but at draft time. the Celtics can give a way better package than can the Lakers so I would wait on them to see what they are willing to give up.
