Thanks for bringing this to the board. Kudos to Duncomb. His hard work is paying off and his skills are being recognized. Kudo to Archie and staff for identifying an undervalued player. People talk all the time about Crean bringing in Oladipo, OG, etc. who weren't highly ranked, but credit should also be given to CAM in these situations for getting the 3* that moved up to 4* before the final rankings/getting to campus as well.3 points

I'm curious what draft recently you'd put above it? I think you've got at least 7 future All-Stars in the lottery plus plus some of the best depth of quality players from late first round and second picks I can remember. I'm not saying it's like '03 good, certainly at the top, but it's a really good class Just from outside the lottery, here is an incomplete list of guys already contributing in major ways: DiVencenzo Lonnie Walker Huerter Grayson Allen Aaron Holiday Shamet Brunson Devonte Graham Gary Trent Mitchell Robinson Bruce Brown Shake Milton2 points

I just had a burger idea I'm going to have to try. I'm sure it's been done before. Pulled pork stuffed burger, topped with cheddar, bbq sauce and slaw.2 points

I think you're right. Definitely looking that way. Mitchell Robinson at pick 36 is 2nd in WS. SGA has outplayed his draft position. Ayton and Young have played to/above theirs. Luka is out of this world so far (and for being so young). Porter is coming on strong now. Robert Williams has played pretty well in limited time (1st in WS/48). List goes on and on...2 points

They did. That draft, by the way, I think will go down as one of the best in a long time. So much talent in it.2 points

Oh I agree it’s very good, just saying it’s not among my top drafts - and that 03 draft was ridiculous. Not sure how you’re defining recent, I wasn’t limiting my thoughts to a short period1 point

Yes for Bagley?? He isn’t bad but they already had serviceable big men like Holmes, Parker, and Biljilic (sp). Add Doncic to shooters like Heild and Bogdonovich and omg that’s scary good. What makes that awesome is Doncic can guard the 3 along with Bogs and they can play small with Barnes at pf if they wanted. Horrible short sightedness. That would have freed them up to move Fox for some help as well. Just not well run at all.1 point

Russia registers a vaccine. Expects to roll out in September and October. Vlad's own daughter has already received two doses. I hope she was on good terms with him before getting them. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/russia-registers-virus-vaccine-putin-s-daughter-given-it/ar-BB17P1Gf?ocid=msedgntp1 point

Those look great... I bought a Cuisinart burger press the other day that makes the stuffing cavity for you. I haven't tried it yet, but this weekend I was going to go extra sharp cheddar and bacon in there...1 point

Playing in Sacramento is like career suicide. They have no direction for their players, team, or organization. Like playing for the Browns or something like that. Not just him but really good players too. Sad really. I think he will get another contract for a year or whatever but agree he needs to pick his destination wisely...maybe take less money to go to a better organization with a plan for him...but in the end their are no promises so maybe make as much as you can then go overseas in a year or two...hopefully Covid is gone by then.1 point

I live in CT. People wear masks when out in public. It’s not herd immunity. It’s people doing what doctors tell them to do. Wearing masks works. If people didn’t treat it as an infringement on their rights and just wore the masks, we’d be in a lot better place right now.1 point

The problem is, we started golf practice today, so after 4 hours on the golf course, I have no desire to go out in the heat and work on it. I'm hoping it rains so I have an excuse to stay inside!1 point

Going to Sacto was not a good long term career choice for Yogi. He really could be out of the league once this deal is up.1 point

Dammit, that's the Redford movie I was trying to think of...you're right...excellent movie1 point

A few of my favorites (along with All the President's Men, and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid) - 12 Angry men. One of the best courtroom movies, late 1950s. - 10. One of the absolute funniest, wackiest, raunchiest movies ever, Dudley Moore, Bo Derek, Julie Andrews. Oh man, Bo Derek .... - Return of the Pink Panther, and the Pink Panther Strikes Again. Peter Sellers was a comic genius. Just hysterical. Grew up on these movies. Also, like 10, directed by Blake Edwards. - Three Days of the Condor. Thriller, Robert Redford.1 point

"All the President's Men" is indeed a forgotten/under rated classic movie. One of my favorite historical events movies.1 point

What makes them forgotten? love Bridge over the River Kwai - have it on dvd on the shelf. iIf we’re talking old movies you might not think of that are great - All The Presidents Men — one of the best ever Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid1 point
