  1. The Pacers have made their hire. Nate Bjorkgen is the guy and been named the new head coach of the Indiana Pacers. He was the top assistant with the Raptors.

  2. That's the reason that I always thought the D'Antoni interest was strange because of the amount of roster moves needed to fit his scheme.

  3. And not mentioned previously. Like some poster(s) said, Pacers are good at keeping it close to the vest. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nate_Bjorkgren

  5. On a completely unrelated note. Peter Dinwiddie was a guy that started with Pacers way back when. If there is a rung below ticket sales on the NBA career path that's where he started. Anyway....pretty cool to see hard work pay off. He's VP of Operations now at Philly....one step below Elton Brand. Pretty cool story for the local guy.

  8. It was known that he was in the conversation and got a zoom interview but he wasn't thought to be a finalist so that was kept quiet.

  9. No. The deadline already passed for them to change their mind.

  10. The Giants won't move on from Jones yet. Plus they won't have the number 1 pick so they would be stupid to not put more weapons around him and build up the team. The QB's that I could see changing teams this offseason are Wentz, Rodgers, Darnold, Ryan, Minshew, Garoppolo, and Stafford. Their could be a few others as well. Will all these guys be on the move? No, they won't but they could be options.

  12. I don't think he's ruined. He has a bad o line and limited weapons. Get him with a good system and a better head coach and who knows but it has to be at the deadline this year or next year. He stays in a bad situation much longer and I'll agree with you.

  15. Anyone else think that if the Eagles decide to move on from Carson Wentz or at least make him available after this season that he will be the QB of the Colts. I would personally put it at about a 95% chance.

  17. Last I say on this because I don't want to cross over into something that breaks the board rules. You are providing one example. Sure, there are religious people that refuse to wear a mask. But, there are people of all beliefs, race, age, sex, etc. that refuse as well. Many teens and college age adults ignore the mask rules. My daughter got quarantined from school earlier this year because she sat next to a kid in class that was positive. This is high school. The kid would not wear her mask in the classroom because it's only required in common areas and not the classroom. I've seen high school sports fans that take their masks off the second they get through the gate even though the rule is you are supposed to keep it on the entire game, I saw a guy in the grocery the other night with his wife and kid. The guy was not wearing a mask and neither was the kid (who I would put at 7 or 8). Heck, I've got a 90 year old uncle who only ends up in a church for funerals who won't wear a mask. Yes, the BBQ owner may be religious. But, it's unfair to paint a large brush against religion in regards to mask wearing.

  21. Cracked open my candied jalapeños this weekend. Amazing. Triscuit, cream cheese, jalapeño. So delicious. The peppers from my garden were a little hot, so I could see finding some milder jalapeños, but they're still incredible. Here's the recipe.
