I might have missed it in this thread but would like to remind every that Colonial Crester wasn’t here to see this one. I know it’s not really our place to say who this win was for. But maybe when we reflect back on this win. We should say this one was for him.7 points

Well, it's official. 2020 is one big acid trip. Now DBM is making positive statements.6 points

What an amazing strong leg, locked in player. 52 yards with an extra 10 added to it. Allen said early he beleives in getting the best long snapper, kicker, etc... and made an investment with scholarships, where other programs use walkons. When you know you can score from 50 yards + what a weapon and pressure on the opposing teams D. Thought this was worth the attention.4 points

Man, I live in Phoenix and he contacted me the day before the Rutgers game to meet up to watch the game. It turned out he lived only a few miles from me (which is kind of amazing in Phoenix). Then he texted me Saturday to say he couldn't make it. Things happen so I didn't think much of it but I guess it was serious. So I never met him in person, but from our conversation he seemed like a good guy who was open and welcoming. Only 59.4 points

The thing I enjoyed seeing the most was the play calling. I thought Sheridan did a great job of attacking Michigan's weaknesses. We were also much more creative and kept the defense off balance. I thought there were times the first 2 games when we were too predictable and it really hurt our offensive line. Play calling was much better, and the OL played much better.4 points

Guess I'll throw my recent activity in... Currently have a new house under construction, so we're staying with my in laws since the end of September and will be for another month. As we were packing up the old house, my wife said "Don't put the table saw in storage....", and I knew I was in for it. Wish I had a before pic, but this was October's "rent" payment: The only molding that I didn't do was the crown (but not for lack of asking). Previous baseboards were just 3.5" generic builder grade. Everything aside from the cornice over the window and the cove on t4 points

This type of news is becoming all to common. When I was a kid and a famous 80 year old person died, it was no big deal. Now, each and every one of them hit home. Final Jeopardy Clue What game host is considered the best at what he did?3 points

McMurphy at The Athletic has us at 8, 2 spots behind Clemson and 6 ahead of Georgia. Let that sink in. Haha. Heck yes Hoosiers!3 points

Good football for the state of Indiana! First the big Hoosier win and now ND has taken down the #1 team!!3 points

I know, I know,......I admit, I’m enjoying reading Michigan’s football message board. They are in complete melt down and are practically wanting Harbaugh’s head on a stick. Someone posted a wish list for potential coaches and several have chimed in wanting Tom Allen. Very flattering, but I honestly can’t see him leaving IU . Here is a few of many about CTA....enjoy.3 points

This (and staff). We, as fans, can say we need player X and can’t pass on a 5-star talent, etc., but CAM and the staff have not only their scouting / analysis of the player’s game to draw on, but also their Interactions with the player, his family, his coaches, and high school. If a staff is all in on a player it tells you something. If a staff appears to back off that tells you something too. We can let it play out and see what the staff is doing, and draw conclusions from that2 points

Makes me laugh when I remember Purdue fans saying Brohm would never lose to that high school coach.2 points

I would recommend to all you gardeners to write down the things you did this year that were good or bad. Sometime soon I'm going to post the thoughts on my garden here so I can look back at it in the spring. Some of the things I planted I never touched, and some things I wish I had more of. Have some other ideas for the spring too.2 points

Wow, so sorry to hear this! Thank you for everything, CC! RIP! It's kind of weird, I've been with HSN since back to the Scout days and am obviously very active, yet I've only ever interacted with CC a couple of times. We never shared any PM's, maybe shared a handful of comments on each others posts over the years, but I'm very aware that if there is no CC, then there is no HSN. While a lot of people play a vital part in HSN, CC was the guy that set the tone and made it all happen. I'm grateful for that. Thoughts are with his family and friends.2 points

Can I just say I love Tony Dungy. I could listen to him talk football, life, just about anything!2 points

Their starting qb is like 5’11 and throws 3/4 side arm. Yeah they could do better. That happens sometimes when you have like a 4 year starter nobody wants to come in and sit behind them and develop. How you have the 2nd best recruiting class in college football but the worst qb room?? Terrible.2 points

Great game. @btownqbI will admit that the O-line played really well and exerted their will down the stretch. I have sat through IU football since 1976. Unfortunately, I was in Wisconsin in 1987 and didn’t get to go to the previous last game we beat Michigan. I was in the stands for several games only to have to put up with the ongoing playing of Hail to the Victors and the cockiness of the UM fans in Memorial Stadium. Loved our DC Womac egging on the offense to bring it home. Loved all the kudos from the FS-1 network, especially Huard, who I really respect. So happy f2 points

That they have. There's at least 2-3 very impressive examples a week on Reddit's /r/woodworking sub. I don't have a planer or a jointer so taking on something from slab level isn't really possible, but I love the whole resin filling idea.1 point

I’m sure the bucks let off the gas late in the 3rd qrtr. after they when up 42-9. You would think they put in their “JV” players. No offense to Rutgers, but we’ve been on the other side as well scoring on teams JVers.1 point

That's a name I had almost forgotten about. Checking Wiki.... they still have Jeff living in Bloomington. Having moved to Btown in 1977. As far as where we will be ranked... anything but 13. I just am unsettled about anything 13.1 point

If Rutgers covers the spread, Rico and Bob will have a perfect week. Unfortunately, Rico will take over 1st place no matter what happens in the Rutgers/OSU game. Ruins a good day if you ask me haha.1 point

There are a lot of B1G fanbases unhappy with their coaches this year, especially today. Michigan, PSU, Nebraska, MSU, Illinois, Minnesota, Maryland. Some of those have move past their dislike for now, but there are a lot of B1G coaches in rocky positions. And here we sit with probably one of the top 3 or 4 most stable coaching seats in the conference.1 point

Can't believe how bad the QB play is at Georgia. With a minute left in the game they have 108 yards passing between 2 players. Florida's QB has 458 yards passing1 point

IMHO. Always BB school. As it should remain. Also... a Soccer school, with many NC's to our credit. And thanks to Doc... many NC's in Swimming . Terry had us on way to becoming a FB power. Now.... it looks like Coach Allen has picked up the piton for IU.1 point

I’ll have some of what Australia is having....mostly because when you get a handle on it, you don’t have to worry about shutting down the economy. https://thehill.com/policy/international/523942-australia-reports-no-new-covid-19-cases-for-first-time-in-five-months?fbclid=IwAR0lpWzCj7ptEMe6-iMqPvbdWtIR7ND2U5Ow2z9dSioeWvHrnNCROAW6Okc1 point
