Transfers with IU Interest

Good thought. Here we go: -
IU Portal News - UPDATES ONLY, NO DISCUSSION
HoosierFaithful posted a topic in Basketball Recruiting
Okay, this is now the second attempt at this. The only posts allowed in this thread are twitter / Facebook / news / etc updates about transfers linked to IU. Any updates, big or small, can be posted. If you post something that is not an update, you're in luck! You can delete your own posts or report your own post and we'll delete it for you. Everyone makes mistakes, we get it. All other offenders will receive a 24 hour posting (but not viewing) ban. -

Transfers with IU Interest
HoosierFaithful replied to Parakeet Jones's topic in Basketball Recruiting
Sadly no. I think there is some utility to this thread vis a vis the other, broader thread - we wanted this thread to be only updates, but alas. If someone wants to make a new thread that is, I swear to Baby Jesus, only twitter / news updates of portal information and absolutely nothing else, post it, tag me, and I will post immediately after and clean up any superfluous posts and that break the rules. -

Hey man I think everything is on the table. I’m not kidding. -

I gotta go to work but if we love our children as much as we say we do, we all need to have as few red lines as possible (while still understanding that people’s strongly held beliefs are valid) in addressing this issue that we, as the most powerful country in the history of the world, uniquely cannot seem to figure out. not trying to make this political. Trying to make my statements broadly agreeable and middle of the road. This entire issue just vexes me. -

I don't know, man, but I think folks setting aside their deeply entrenched beliefs (me included) has to be a part of the solution because we're the only country where this happens and, guess what: Did you know the leading cause of death in children? It's guns. We're the only place where that's so striking. -

I don’t have the answers but I think it means liberal folks and conservative folks keeping an open mind on things they usually disagree with to.. you know.. save children from being murdered. -

it's a heated issue, and my views aren't everyone else's, but we need to try and "all of the above" strategy IMO, even things I don't agree with -

These children are not growing up how we grew up and there isn't anything they can do to change it. We collectively need to find a way to change it. It's on us. -

We can't and shouldn't turn this into a political thread, but can we all please find the humanity in ourselves on this issue, if on no other issue, to try something to stop this. -
I mean, in a vacuum, I'm happy for her - if the options are "no IU women in top 5" or "attractive and still really good IU woman in top 5" I want them to get the bag, it just feels slimy.

It's unfortunate but not unexpected on the women's side.

Alright, we love you, but this is the final warning for only pure updates and perhaps immediately clarifying questions / things related to that particular update, but we want to keep this thread easy to read. -
His improvement as a ball handler this year was stunning

Crowd update: pathetic.

IU vs Penn State Pre-Game B10 Tournament
HoosierFaithful replied to IUFLA's topic in IUBB Game Threads
Jordan’s lack of improvement, especially after the surge late last year, is baffling. Feels like it was a mirage. Agree with Droogh - he tries really hard, and his character seems strong, but the lack of in game understanding isn’t any better than day 1. The double off of a good shooter last night for an open 3 was… a mistake that children don’t even make in 2k -
