Seven in the portal. Three retuning from an elite 8 team, including a senior walk-on.

“Next season will be Duke head coach Jon Scheyer's first without a single player from the Mike Krzyzewski era. It's shaping up to be a make-or-break year for the Duke alum, who has succeeded in continuing Coach K's perennial recruiting dominance but has failed to reach a final four thus far.  Both of his teams have gone 27-9, with an ACC tournament championship in 2023, but Duke fans are obviously looking for something more.

    Toxic fan base.

Hold it right there salt water “Turt”!

IU was the one and only IU because Coach Knight was captain and we were practically winning a National Championship every 4-6 years to get Knight his 3.
Then the wheels fell off. lol

Purddue will never be IU unless Painter goes on run similar or better that Knight’s. 🤓

That was almost 40 years ago. Nobody under the age of 30 even remembers when IU had a great program.

Now, the only time you here anybody talk about Indiana basketball is when other fanbases say 'we don't want to end up like Indiana basketball or Nebraska football.'

But you're right. Knight was great until he wasn't.

1000% correct.  So my answer is NO, HELL NO.  All this (any) PU love is making my stomach hurt. OK, I don't really 'dislike' Painter, and Big Guy seems like a pretty nice kid, but come on, It's Purdue. We are not raised to root for each other, it's part of rival-ness. I don't like or care about UConn so if they win it means nothing to me other than PU losing.

Oh, and I will win money in our Office pool, so there's that.

There really is no rivalry any more. Purdue IS Indiana basketball now. Remember when Kentucky raced past us in the mid nineties and never looked back?

Purdue is now doing the same thing. What's even more sad is that, just like then, they don't care.
