I agree that would be ideal, but probably won’t happen often unless changes are made to the portal.

2024 SF Bryson Tucker Commits to INDIANA!!

Evidently, his father sees something in Coach Woodson that most of the fire CMW crowd doesn’t, and that says a lot. -

Gotta love that. -
Not an overwhelming hire, and I would expect much angst in Wildcat nation. Some will be excited because he’s one their own and is a good coach, but many will be disappointed much like the Woodson announcement. Quite a step up from BYU to Kentucky.

To all PU fans that claim titles don’t matter watch UConn reload after back to back titles. Of course, recruits notice. Ours were years ago, but they still mean something when you walk into Assembly Hall and see 5 of them hanging over the court!
-
Would they have cared, if you had beaten UConn?
-
All the other names being tossed around are either too old or have considerable baggage or both - Pearl, Sampson, Beard, Oates.
-
Wouldn’t be surprised if it isn't Oates. I know he’s said he’s not interested, but I’m sure he could be convinced now that Hurley and Drew have said no.

Scott Drew turns down Kentucky….who’s next on the list…Nate Oates, Chris Beard, Bruce Pearl? https://www.dallasnews.com/sports/baylor-bears/2024/04/11/scott-drew-staying-at-baylor-over-taking-vacant-kentucky-job-reports-say/?outputType=amp

It will be interesting to see how many of his current players follow him to Arkansas, and how many look elsewhere.
-
Will Calipari be able to recruit at Arkansas like he did at Kentucky? Not so sure, but we’ll see. His time might be over. NIL and the Portal have changed everything.
-
I’ll go with Haagen-Dazs
-
You’re really reaching now. Smits was probably the best of that bunch, but he could actually shoot outside of 5 ft.
-
Projections don’t mean much. TJD was projected late 1st to early second round, and ending up being the next to last pick in the draft to many GMs’ regrets.
-
I have nothing against him and wish him well. I just don’t see success in the NBA, but I’ve been wrong before…just ask my wife.
-
Probably somewhere in the 2nd round.
-
The problem is he’s slow, and isn’t an exceptional athlete. Can anyone name a 7’4” player with those traits, that has been a success in the NBA?
-
Shocked isn’t the word…mid to late 2nd round.
-
He continues to impress throughout the league with his knowledge of the game, fundamentals, and especially his atheletism.
