  1. Yeah, but supposedly he wants a guarantee he’ll start… doubt he gets that Arkansas.
  2. Possibly, but we’ll still have 6 and you’ll have 0. Like it or not, the game has changed, and NIL is the driving force when it comes to the transfer portal and building rosters. I’m not saying that guarantees success, but I like our chances. There’s always been “haves and have nots” and I think you know where you stand in the current state of college basketball.
  3. Sounds like jealousy to me…we’ll get #6 before you get #1.
  4. I was joking, but stranger things have happened, and if Catchings is looking for a guaranteed starting spot this isn’t the place for him either. I like our roster just the way it is.
  5. How about filling our 13th scholarship with McNeeley (if Hurley leaves) or Catchings….wouldnt that be sweet!
  6. I have zero concern about not filling the 13th scholarship, unless someone with rotation type talent drops into our lap. This year’s roster construction is in much better shape than last year. As someone else said, if we’re in real need of playing the 13th man, then our season is in the tank anyway.
  7. As good as Halliburton has been, he’s been skaky at the end of games, but he’ll get better with experience.
  8. Despite all that, if we just get the ball in play at the end of regulation, we win!
  9. Gave the game away with turnovers!
  10. 2 turnovers in the last 20 seconds… just handed it to the Celtics.
  11. Maybe, we can steal one in Boston.
  12. I’ll be rooting for the Pacers, but this will be a strange series for me, because I grew up a Celtics fan watching Russell, Havlicek, KC Jones, and then of course, the Bird, Parish and McHale teams. If it was anybody other than the Pacers, I’d be pulling for the Celtics.
  13. Hoping for the best today, but something tells me that a 7th game in MSG will just be too much for these young Pacers to overcome.
  14. Hey, maybe we should start a Fire Coach Carlisle thread…do you think we could get 300+ pages?
  15. You nailed it…we’ll be fine with 2 in as long as 1-3 can score. It didn’t work last year, because none of our guards were a scoring threat on a consistent basis. All the opposition had to do was pack it in and double/triple team our bigs. Hopefully, they won’t have that luxury this year.
  16. In a perfect world, I agree, but you’re limited when you can only offer a player maybe 10 minutes a game, if he’s lucky.
  17. Plus, he’s another Indiana kid, so hopefully, if he comes it’s because he really wants to be here, and will gladly accept his role.
  18. Yeah, but we probably only need him for about 10 minutes a game, so he’s probably as good as we can get at this point. He seems like a solid player…I say go for it.
  19. On paper we have one of the most talented rosters in the B10 and maybe the country, but we still have to see how that translates on the court.
  20. He’ll probably be ready to retire in 2-3 years, so it could be a moot point by then anyway.
  21. Yep, Knecht would have been a home run, and Ledlum a DNP, coaches decision.
