I hope to see a complete turnaround on our style of play this year. Last year our guard play was subpar to say the least, and was predictable and easy to defend. This year with Rice and Carlyle we should be in attack mode all game long, and they have the talent to get that done. That’s the approach that UConn has used to win back to back championships.

There will be high expectations next year, and rightfully so. With the MM, MR and TG returning, and the influx of talent coming in, we should expect big things next year. Barring injuries, no excuses.

All right, now that our roster is relativity set, what do we talk about for the next 6 months….starting lineups? That can only go so far…help me out.

Yeah, give me a Goode lager!

That’s quite a roster….probably the most talent we’ve had since Zeller and company.

Here we go…can’t wait for the season to get here. 💪

I’ll take that…we’ll have the talent to be top 10 team next year, but we have to do it in the court…we’ll see.

I’ll give you a “very good” basketball program, but not elite.

Yeah, but if it was just a meniscus repair as reported, he’ll be good to go at the beginning of the season.

I would hope so.

That why I think it’s important to land Goode over Anderson, because he’s an in-state guy. If we have a successful season next year as most expect, he can be a big help recruiting other in-state guys like Sisley.

Either one….at this point, whoever commits first.

How confident are we that Goode is coming? For some reason I don’t feel good about this…we’ve been fooled by the portal before. Just a few days ago Essegian was a done deal, and look how that turned out.

I agree, but many would say we’re no longer a blue blood program, but for those doubters it sure looks like we’re poised to reclaim that status.

I don’t know if you include Kentucky in that group any longer now that Calipari is gone, and with the mass exodus at Duke, we may be ready to fill the void, with the roster upgrades we’ve made this off-season.

With a cheap shot artist…should fit right in at Duke.

I have no doubt, and Michigan has always been a little outside that model anyway.

May is off to a good start, and will have Michigan in the hunt again.
