  1. Shocked isn’t the word…mid to late 2nd round.
  2. He continues to impress throughout the league with his knowledge of the game, fundamentals, and especially his atheletism.
  3. Highlights of TJD’s latest game. https://www.nbcsportsbayarea.com/nba/golden-state-warriors/trayce-jackson-davis-highlights-jazz/1721816/?amp=1
  4. Could get ugly next year when Edey isn’t around, and all the focus will be on stopping your guards.
  5. Hats off to Edey and a great college career, but I still think he’ll struggle in the NBA. He carried the team all year, and had a great game last night, but the guards were overmatched against UConn. Everyone else but Smith, was a non factor - TKR 4 pts, Jones 5 pts, Loyer - 0 pts, Bench - 2 pts. On to next year, and the banner count still stands - IU 5 / Purdue 0.
  6. Not often, but he hasn’t played against anyone like Clingan before.
  7. That could easily happen to Edey as well…then what?
  8. Ok, maybe we never had them, but we did give them their best game of the tournament.
  9. What happened to Caleb Furst…is he still on the team, injured or just not getting any playing time?
  10. Probably not 20+, but more like 10-15. Either way it’s a convincing UConn win. I think Clingan will give Edey fits.
  11. I guess I’m just an eternal optimist when it comes to Hoosiers’ basketball. I have no doubt we will be back and soon!
  12. Yeah, but IU will be back…guaranteed!
  13. Actually, I’d like to see them win…I just don’t think they will. I’ll always root for an Indiana/B10 team over the rest of country, so good luck Purdue.
  14. A great example how things can change with the right moves in the portal.
  15. They’ve had a nice run, but let’s see what they do next year.
  16. Purdue wins this game going away, but loses to UConn by double digits in the championship game.
  17. From the film he looks really good, and doesn’t need to be wide open to knock down his shot. In the past, most of our supposed 3 pt shooters have been reluctant to shoot even when wide open. We need a fearless shooter that will make you pay when he has the opportunity! Hickman seems to fit that mold.
  18. I go back to the beginning of the Knight era, and was fortunate enough to be around to watch those teams, so my benchmark is the 1976 undefeated team. Obviously, that’s a high bar, and isn’t a realistic goal to set, but the overall excellence surrounding the program is what Id like to see again. Winning the B10 championship, being a consistent Top 25 team and a threat to win a national title should be our goal. In other words - a true “blue blood” program again! And with our resources that shouldn’t be that hard.
  19. Here’s a great article. https://theathletic.com/5392665/2024/04/05/warriors-trayce-jackson-davis-draymond-green-combination/
  20. Lets hope so, but either way I’m ok with swapping McNeeley for Tucker.
  21. From what I’ve seen it looks like Tucker is more athletic, with a mid-range game, and McNeeley is more of threat from 3. Pretty much an even swap.
  22. Who ya gonna call “Ghostbusters”
