As many thought, the new CBB landscape is VERY favorable for a program like IU. To be able to rebound like this after such a terrible year is just incredible

Know what they're talking about? They're talking about the exact thing that everyone in this thread is clamoring for, even the "old school" guys.....

All of the above quotes are from 1986-87, and the coaches are talking about the adoption of the 3 point line. 

Just a reminder that even in our own personal "good old days", there was a "get off my lawn" guy yearning for HIS "good old days".  Things are always evolving.  That doesn't make change inherently good or inherently bad, but change is always present.

This is a very fair point. 

We aren’t playing well but some of these 3’s are just long and well defended. Nebraska runs good offense and is on a heater. 

3 point shooting doesn’t matter. That’s why we are winning right now. 

If you want to see more IU football discussion, make it so.  There isn’t enough activity to split this out.

I am not saying he made them say it, I am saying he has instilled this manner of a mentality.

Final comment - I was in the stands, it is very clear this team LOVES Woodson and would walk on hot coals for him.  They are clearly in an “us against the world” mentality.  That’s great.  I’m just not sure why Woodson has to pit the fans against the players for the intensity and urgency to surface so prominently like this.
