Yes it is, but every single fanbase does it, not just IU. IU has been down for awhile now so it's easy for the media to kick the fanbase and say how bad we are. If IU was winning more you wouldn't hear about it as much, they would just say we are passionate about our Hoosiers.

I think they both have more potential then some realize. Like you said I doubt either of them will be stars but I think they both can be really good B1G players.

This is ridiculous, just because people are questioning this hire doesn't mean they don't back IU. I didn't know that you had to blindly support every move that IU and Coach Woodson made. I joined this forum recently because I thought it was reasonable and differing opinions are allowed, it looks like I might have been wrong.

The thing is this guy tried to do more then stretch the rules, he tried to go full nuclear. Hopefully that is a thing of the past with him.

People keep saying that they don't care about going in the grey area somewhat, I am ok with it to a point, but this guy was way past the grey area. And like you said the only reason he was cleared is because what he was selling wasn't being bought. I guess we will see how things turn out if they hire him, it could be a good hire or one that could backfire on Coach Woodson.

While I would have been happy if he returned, I am like you not really sweating it. With Stewart and Johnson in now I think IU will be ok. At least he didn't go to the hated three rivals.

If Franklin does move, which is starting to look like a good possibility, Virginia would be a good spot for him. If he goes there I can still cheer him on since he won't be at Turdue Illinois or Kensucky lol. 👍

I don't know about any IU hangouts but I know when I stayed in Cape Coral there was a mostly Colts Bar right off of Santa Barbara. That's been about ten years ago so might not be there now.

I don't think the NCAA ever thinks about what they are doing, most of what they do is reactive. If they did it wouldn't be the chaos it is for transfers right now. I don't necessarily have a problem with the extra year because of the circumstances, but they really need to get a handle on everything next year.

I would say if Race does leave he will probably go to the Gophers. I think that would be a good place for him.

Goodman needs to get over the fact that his buddy Archie was fired, it's starting to get a little creepy and obsessive. For being "irrelevant" he sure does talk about IU a lot.

Like you I was disappointed in the hire but so far I have been pleasantly surprised with what has happened. Now with that being said I won't be 100% happy with the hire until IU actually starts playing some games and showing they can win consistently.
