  1. I used to watch the NBA all the time but it just doesn't interest anymore me to watch teams dribble the ball around the perimeter and throw up 30 three point shots a game. But like you said it is personal preference. The thing is you take away the Superstars, something that college basketball doesn't have time to turn them into, the NBA wouldn't be more popular.
  2. While I think the NBA is a terrible product anymore, it will always be more popular. Superstars bring in ratings and money so that will always put them at the top. College basketball is more regional so it will be more popular in certain areas.
  3. I like the Bloomington on them, the limestone masonry pattern is alright, but might look better without it.
  4. They just put one in North Manchester and I have to say I am not a big fan of it.
  5. While I wasn't all that thrilled with the hire I really like what he has done so far. Getting Trayce to stay along with the others that came back was huge. Then you add in Johnson, Bates and Kopp and we have the makings of a really good team next season. I'm probably at about 90% liking the hire now, need to see some actual games played to be at 100%.
  6. Dakich I can agree with, but Goodman most definitely does not like IU. His obsessive tweeting about IU will plummet once the Hoosiers are back winning consistently.
  7. Some masshole that lives in Boston. Evidently he is fond of donuts.
  8. Probably so, but that doesn't change what I said about Rodgers.
  9. Yeah when they traded up to draft Jordan Love instead of getting Rodgers some weapons that kind of soured him with them I would imagine.
  10. Solid fits them perfectly. If their two greatest coaches of all time had gotten them to a final four they might be top 20. Painter has the players returning and coming in that he has no excuse to not do better in the tourney. It would be a bad look if he fails the next couple of years in the tourney.
  11. Or maybe they are to low at Purdue. They seem to be happy with having a good regular season and never advancing to the Final Four.
  12. This is the one guy I really wanted IU to get once he became available. I think he will be huge for the Hoosiers. They have potentially the best backcourt in the B1G. πŸ‘ πŸ’ͺ
  13. With the players Illinois has lost we will see how good of a coach Underwood is. In my opinion they will struggle big time next season. And if they do I will be extremely happy.
  14. That would be the only one I would even consider thinking they had an outside chance of winning it all.
  15. Like you said Purdue and Painter are a solid program, but as an IU fan I want more then just solid. I want IU to be number one seeds and occasionally have a chance to win it all. I've never once considered Purdue under Painter a favorite to win it all. Going into the tournament a couple of times i've thought they could make a decent little run but that's it.
  16. Hopefully what Coach Allen has going on with the football program starts to bleed over into the basketball program. Off subject but what part of Northern Illinois? I have family from Ottawa and Streator and also around Peoria.
  17. Anymore I want IU to take the us against the world attitude, the hell with other teams, coaches, journalists and the B1G. Very few of them show IU any respect and are always crapping on the Hoosiers so screw all them.
  18. He will never be coach of IU, and like you said who cares. πŸ‘ If he ever wants to win a championship his best chance would have been at IU. He has a long way to go to ever win one in the NBA.
  19. After the season he just had and having a new coach he could have easily transferred, but to stick with IU says a lot about him. πŸ‘ If he can get confidence back in his shot, with his defense and experience he could be big for us next season.
  20. Awarding the ball to the defense when they create a held ball situation is one that I hope they do pass. The defense should get the benefit in this situation.
  21. So big deal, he is 63 years old so he won't be here forever. It's just a discussion, nothing more nothing less. 😐 πŸ˜’
  22. Keeping Hunter was a great move in my opinion. πŸ‘ The Fife hire could potentially mean we have our next coach already in place once Coach Woodson retires.
  23. This has been one of IU biggest downfalls the last couple of years, someone that has an attitude and gets pissed off and goes right back at the other team. Hopefully we can start to develop that next season.
