Contracts are public record. Someone may have filled out a request for the info. Or even more likely since news sites usually report on the contract when it is signed, they probably already had a copy in storage.

Quinn sure loves Woodson...although at least the buyout isn't bad in that it can be stretched out over years. Too bad Quinn doesn't have to fund it. I wonder if they go with the $1 million per year option and Woodson happens to find a job that pays over a $1 million, then would it negate the higher amount from the buyout? Of course, I don't see Woodson finding another Quinn to give him a high contract.

Not bad. I would say "because of holding on to Woodson too long" or something to that effect. Hiring was already done unfortunately so no point in complaining about that. Got a to vs too typing error as well in 3rd paragraph.

His comments recently and refusal to recruit seem to indicate he isn't willing to learn (his ego thinks he already knows what is best). I don't see another year as anything other than a wasted year.

I guess the follow-up would be can quinn block the money by himself?

Does being the chair give Quinn full power to fire Dolson or would it have to be something voted on by all 9 trustees? If the latter then I would just fire Woodson if I was Dolson regardless and dare the 9 trustees to fire me over it.

Hard to know exactly why he wouldn't share the recordings. Probably not worth it unless they proceeded with charging him. I don't think anyone comes out great in any heated argument, especially if someone starts taking snippets from the recording out of context. So can understand his reluctance to release it even if he doesn't come off that badly in it.

And why change a contract that wasn't even up or even close to it. It's almost like Woodson wrote it himself or had a compromising photo of whoever assisted in that one. I'm guessing it was the good ol' boy issue. Quinn?

Whoever writes up our contracts and does extensions needs fired. what is that person's buyout?

Dolson is taking Cig's advice and googling all coaches high and low.

With Woodson firmly on the hot seat, it's going to be even harder for him to recruit. If he couldn't bring in guards last year with a much cooler seat and fresh off sending JHS to the NBA, then what makes you think he can this year? Even if he magically fills up our guard rotation, he still has wacky rotations and a refusal to let assistants do their job.
