  1. I’ll ask one. Why is it only Rivals guys jumping? This thing has been kept quiet enough I’d think 247..etc. would be picking.
  2. Actually I think he gets just as many minutes at Kansas because they are selling him on Grady Dicks minutes. He was a hybrid type too. This one is going to be difficult to see. I think they are family type people and I think IU featured that aspect from the sound of it.
  3. Clickbait. They cleared one before his visit too. Means they now have 2 spots.
  4. Hopefully the surgery gives her better quality of life. Back or any neurological surgery isn’t fun. Wife had her second craniotomy in September. I knew she was better when she told me she didn’t need me hanging around bothering her. Told me to stay at my sisters but “ bring me cheesy eggs in the morning”.
  5. From all accounts they are throwing everything at him. I like IUs chances because he didn’t just commit on the spot. IU has a wide open spot with almost unlimited playing time. Kansas doesn’t.
  6. I’m so glad Woody didn’t get in the HD drama. Reminds me of this. https://youtu.be/OHSYWIAAY2o
  7. I’ve seen him play. Eddyville isn’t far. People in KY haven’t exactly seen many great high school games. Indiana side is a completely different world. I watch a lot of high school ball. London, Lexington and Louisville areas are an exception. The rest has mites. Lots of 6’ or under post players. I was shocked that I was the 2nd tallest guy in my workplace out of 400 people. I’m 6’2”.
  8. I wouldn’t say perry is better. They aren’t recruiting over Sheppard but they would perry. Perry is a conditional offer by many.
  9. His dream school offered and he didn’t commit. Probably for the same reason you stated. If Cal really wanted him he would be a wildcat.
  10. No they really can’t. Cupps is a little quicker. I don’t see Perry being a fit. If woody wants positionless basketball then neither one is that type. Looked to me like the trend is 6’3- 6’9” athletes who can defend at least 3 spots. Those teams could play multiple ways.
  11. Nate Oats is good not very good. 2 sweet 16s with that talent. Let’s not get carried away.
  12. You won’t see Purdue making any statement. It would acknowledge that there is a problem. Saying nothing is pretty standard. Something happened and it wasn’t in Purdues best interest. I’m not saying he doesn’t end up at Purdue.
  13. If any of the rumors are true this isn’t ending well. You can’t make a kid do something he doesn’t want to do. He might do it but he’s not going to do it well. Look at TJD. His camp really wanted him at Michigan state. He ended up at IU. Why? Because that’s what he wanted. I shudder thinking about him under Izzo. Anyway, this is not over.
  14. I got the left knee you get the right. On ttthreeee.
  15. This is a 1099 thing. You can’t cap what you have nothing to do with. They can get as many outside contracts as they want. The University or NCAA can’t control how much an individual makes. That’s the ruling. NFL and NBA is a collective bargaining unit. NIL is not. edit: didn’t see the posts after. Sorry.
  16. This is more than that. This probably isn’t over.
  17. I’d say he’s doubting and the parents/coaches are doing due diligence. Obviously something is going on.
  18. I also heard he wants to explore playing with his AAU teammates. That makes more sense than a bunch of random guys. I’d say if he’s doubting at all they need to go through the process not force him.
  19. If it’s true he contacted Purdue and got his hand smacked then yes. If he has doubts those rarely end well. What needs to happen is he decommits and reviews his options. If Kanon wants it anyway. Sounds like he might. The doubt/question train is rolling.
