  1. I understand what you are saying. Lots of misses lately. Can’t deny that. I just don’t know if you can win it all with mostly Indiana kids year in and year out. I think you can have a too much talent problem. Look at UK. They can score and score but can’t defend. I’m not sure kids truly know what IU basketball is anymore. Been a long time.
  2. No it’s not. 2022 class? 2021 class was good. 2020…was ok. 2025 looks great. It’s real hit or miss.
  3. Don’t mistake best with stars. We see how a certain southern Indiana 5* turned out. You want talent whether they are from Indiana or Yemen.
  4. 87 team says hello. 3 indiana kids and only one played(Alford). You take the best and if it’s Indiana kids then cool. Indiana isn’t the hotbed it once was. You do get some players that have something to prove after getting snubbed.
  5. Could you imagin those three with Haralson.
  6. I misunderstood. Sorry about that. https://www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/20pdf/20-512_gfbh.pdf
  7. If congress wanted to get involved they would’ve already. The scotus already ruled. You think congress wants to pull power from the stats after an antitrust ruling? Especially over the failing NCAA grasping for power? No way. That’s not even my opinion. Lawyers are coming out of the woodwork to blast the NCAA. If I’m a betting man I’m betting Tennessee/Virginia gets this injunction and rather quickly.
  8. The courts say otherwise. I bet congress stays out of this. The NCAA wants congress to get into this but congress isn’t in the business to hinder income of athletes. The NCAA is grasping at anything keeping them in power.
  9. NCAA is in a losing battle. States rights and the fact they haven't punished anyone in 3 years brings in Acquis. Tennessee is ready to do Battle. The NCAA couldn’t run an automatic car wash.
  10. The way he got stepped on though…happened to me and it broke my metatarsal. Hope it’s just a sprain.
  11. Depends. You have to defend those spots too not just “play” them. This is the reasons teams try to get you to switch. Take advantage of a slow 3 against a fast 2. So yes I don’t want a 2 guarding a 4 if I can help it. Liam has size but isn’t overly quick. He can probably switch on some 2-4. Mbako isn’t slower than Liam by much but struggles guarding 2 guards. He’s a natural 4 etc…
  12. Mcneely at the 2 on defense makes me nervous in college. Good guards and coaches would get the switch and put us in a bad spot. If he’s forced to play at the 2 I think it means Woodson didn’t do well recruiting guards again and McNeely wasn’t a one year player. Would not be good. Imho
  13. Wonder if it’s a situation like Flory. Jobs, cars for parents etc…
  14. I’m betting he goes to overtime etc…he’s got his shoe deal and I’ve heard he’s said he might.
  15. Another key player. Get some OL/DL studs to help.
  16. Big necessity! Hes big, mobile and very very accurate. TE size. Those short yard situation’s(QB sneak etc..) won’t be a problem. Has pretty big arm too.
  17. One real positive thing is Sanon was seeking IU staff out. He wants them to recruit him.
  18. I saw that he’s bringing his strength guys from JMU.
  19. When Coyle asked that NIL question he was totally annoyed. No nonsense and a classic leach/knight like response but less harsh. Sheesh Coyle. 🤣
  20. This is probably why he’s getting the job. Turnkey. Just need the players.
  21. Why wouldn’t he? I don’t blame him for going home.
