Usually deflections mean you are in the passing lanes not making things easy for you opponent. A very important stat IMO for your defense. Maybe I am wrong but the only 2 IU coaches in the past 50 years to have IU basketball ranked #1 are Bob Knight and Tom Crean. I too have understood all the bashing that still happens. IU waa a bad hire from becoming a DePaul or SMU etc..

My great friend ,my minister, waa the IU Men's basketball chaplain during the Davis years. If people knew half of the things that he did for players and people just in general the only negative thing anyone coukd say about Mike was he just was not the right fit. When Tom Rust says he is as good of a person he has met for me that speaks volumes

I was playing The Show 21 Xbox game with Ayden and we did a home-run derby at the Polo Grounds and no one could hit a shot to straight away center field. In fact at 489 ft only 4 players ever did it.Only four people ever hit home runs into center field: Luke Easter in a Negro Leagues game, Hank Aaron and Lou Brock, on consecutive days, and Joe Adcock.
