They were terrible in the Pacer game last night and royally screwed the Pacers.  Also Detroit is a very dirty team and was able to get away with a lot of dirty plays in the game.

Blake Griffin's wrestling takedown of Bogey that resulted in a double tech was something.

It does look good, but wonder if that's really enough.

Objectively, those guys without LeBron on the floor can't win games, at least at this stage of their development. The 2 firsts help.

Then there's still the fact that Boston has a better haul to offer, better players who have won well, including getting the C's to the conference finals last year without Kyrie and Hayward.

If I'm the Pels, I wait. Won't this deal also still be available if they don't bite now? Will be interesting to see for sure if the Pels do or don't go for this.

Not sure why the Celtics would make a big offer when AD doesn't want to go there.

Not sure if AD on the Lakers is even the super team you might initially think of them becoming. Depending on what happens with trades/free agency, the lakers seem to be willing to move a lot of pieces to bring AD this season instead of 2020. AD is a phenomenal player no doubt, but he also misses ~20 games a season or more from injuries -- which has destroyed what roster the Lakers already do have this year.

As unremarkable as I think Ball and Ingram are, they might miss players like that over the course of a season if AD sits out or the team doesn't mesh well.

LeBron carried hot garbage to the NBA finals. He plus the Brow would be lethal.

Will the Pacers get the Disabled Players exception next year?  From what I'm reading, John Wall for instance, the Wiz can use 8.6 million this year.

I don't think the Pacers want to get better this year.

I believe they missed it by a couple of weeks.

it took Tony Parker roughly 6 months to come back from his injury like this, Vic is younger though but everyone heals different.  Andre Roberson is almost one year from his injury and still not playing.

Is Roberson's injury the same though? Patellar tendon vs quad tendon?

Is it just me or has Oladipo regressed some and lost confidence? It looks like he has lost his swagger! Is he dealing with an injury still or he saw what he needed to do and it has messed with him? I just am not understanding how he is not himself. It's like he doesn't even look that happy out there and have that smirk or grin on his face that he had at the beginning of the year. I am wondering what everyone's take is going on with him.

He hasn't had to do it all this year like he did last year. That's it.

C’s are dealing with some chemistry issues. The way Irving has been calling guys out and questioning Stevens’ end of game play calling is a bit eye opening. Keep it in the locker room Irving. Still a long way to go to the end of the season, but starting to wonder, a little, about the fit in Boston. They’ll probably get it together but stil.

need to see better play by the P’s agsinst the better teams, but think this team could end up like those Pistons teams that got past the Pacers and won a couple titles - solid all the way down the bench, no superstars but some very good players like Billups. If Vic stays healthy and Turner gets back well they will challenge — Toronto

To me, there are more questions about the 76ers and Celtics when it comes to who they are beating. Both teams, along with the Pacers, are below .500 against teams above .500 (the Celtics struggling more so than the other two). But the Pacers are doing a much better job against teams they should beat. It's not a negative for the Pacers that they are crushing teams they should and the 76ers and Celtics aren't.

The Pacers have also split with all of their East competition with the exception of Toronto, so not really worried about how they matchup with anyone but Toronto.

So Myles Turner is very important to the Pacers, especially on the defensive end.  His presence is surely missed.  Sabonis fills in quite well, however Myles is on another level on the defensive side of the ball compared to Sabonis.  Don't get me wrong, I love Sabonis but that just isn't his game.  I would love if Sabonis improved defensively during this upcoming offseason.

They are playing worse without Myles than they did without Vic.

I understand wanting the fans to feel involved, but their votes should not count in any of the sports All-Star games.  I know this is the NBA thread, but case in point is Darius Leonard not making the Pro Bowl.

    Fans voted for Leonard.
