The Vandals played better than Michigan.

That is smack I can’’t keep up with. We are a PBR nation, though.

Good game. And, thank you for having me here.

Eight miles. I had a lot of friends that went to WSU.

It blows. That is why we have a Dome. September and October is amazing. If you are familiar with where the Mariners play baseball, I have always said it would be awesome if we had a removal roof for the weather in the early fall.

We are a great bunch of fans. We would offer you a beer and a brat at our tailgate. If you ever can make a game at the Kibbie Dome, it will be an experience.

My prediction of 40-21 loss is pretty close.

The move was financial. When I was in college, we never lost to Boise State. We tried to keep up with BSU. It was financial. They had a small metro population and we had a small agro-population. It was a big difference. Even though Idaho has three bowl wins, it was losing season after losing season. We are now at the FCS level with an FCS stadium (16,000) and we have the opportunity to compete at our level. Yes, BSU is our rival, but they forgot we are their rival. Better days ahead.

Vandal fans knew the best part of this game was the $1.3 mil.

No. My family name is Cornish. It is a work name like Fisher, Hunter, Smith. And, I am a Vandal.

As I said, I had no room for smack. We played a lights out first half.

The area around Moscow (pronounced Mos-coe) is spectacular. As a kid from Seattle, it was an amazing time in my life to be in the wilderness. A true college town.

It was 21 years ago.

I’m only here for the love of football. You have to be a real fan if you are a Vandal fan. So far, it has been a good game. It will be difficult to keep this pace with a B1G team.

We have the same level athletes as we did last year. The coaching change made the difference. Idaho will be competitive in our conference and possibly the playoffs. Forgive me, but I have no room for smack talk after enduring the last nine years of the previous staff. We are grateful he gave us one bowl win before our move to FCS.

We could only hope that UofI plays up in the second half. The facts are IU has substantially faster, stronger, bigger players. Good coaching and play calling can only take a team so far. It will be difficult to keep up with B1G level competition. The previous coaching staff didn’t know how to make 2nd half adjustments. This staff knows how to compete.

Northern Idaho is a logging and mining community. But, I get it.

The Vandal D is playing up tonite.

The Idaho punter is also the Vandal kicker. He is an ok punter, but he can hit a FG from 60.

The Vandal O-line will be the smallest you see all year.

Idaho has a new coaching staff. The HC played at Wisconsin. And, many from the staff have excellent resumes. The Vandals are lucky to have this new staff.
