Lose game 1, 7-4.

Currently sit in 4th in conference play just a half game ahead of 5th and 1 game out of 3rd.  Play at 1st place Northwestern this weekend.

So apparently we tied Ball State.  Yes, tied.  The game went into extra innings and Ball State doesn’t have lights.  7-7 in the 12th.  Game called due to darkness.

I don’t really care what other people think.  I’m a fan of my university.  All of it.  Do I wish we had better seasons in those two?  Of course.  But in the meantime, IU won 5 conference championships and the PUkes won 1.  That’s good enough for me.

Is it me or is the tackling already improved?

I like this offense though.  Ball gets out quick and it’s more creative than every other play being a back shoulder throw.

That second defense, or the cream, has some problems.
