  1. Don't forget the Bob Knight show! I learned more about basketball watching that show than doing anything else. Plus there were some classic moments...something about a donkey named Jack?? LMAO!!!
  2. With two parents who are IU grads (dad went to high school with Jimmy Rayl and mom had classes at IU with the Van Arsdales), I was born an IU fan. Also, my grandmother remembered watching Branch McCracken PLAY when she was on campus. Anyway, I went to my first football game when IU hosted Washington in the late 70s (I think) and I was hooked. My Godparents took my brother and I (he is also an IU grad) to our first basketball game when IU hosted Kentucky in the early 80s. I was hooked then, too. I remember the NIT championship game in '79 and the '81 season, but my favorite seasons were '87, '92 (I was on campus and at Nick's for the Final Four), and 2002 (what a fun and amazing run that was!). But I also remember watching the soccer Hoosiers win the National Title my freshman year (I was there with my dad), and the curb stomping that AT and the gang put on Ohio State at Memorial Stadium. I was in the balcony when Jay Edwards beat Michigan. I was there when we played OSU during the Gulf War and vividly remember the National Anthem. My dad and I were at the Marco Killingsworth game v. Duke when it was so loud I thought the roof was going to blow off. My other best memories are now tailgating with my daughter on football Saturdays and going to hoops games with her from the time she was really young to this past year. She is now a fourth generation IU student. So many happy memories covering 40+ years (I'm 52). And, yes, @IU Scott, I miss channel 4 and the Farm Bureau days!
  3. By the way, I agree w you on the puzzling part. Warren Central, on the other hand, has to be ecstatic with their new sectional alignment….Tech, Southport, and Perry…cakewalk.
  4. Someone had to go north. I was guessing Noblesville and Westfield or maybe Westfield and Zionsville go up 65.
  5. IU is currently 10th in the standings, but only one game behind Penn St. who is in 7th.
  6. B5 down 6-0 if anyone is wondering.
  7. I don't think the slide is over yet either.
  8. This is kinda why I'm arguing a little. You see more of this than I ever do so I appreciate that kind of feedback.
  9. I was only comparing on the speed part of Bell.
  10. Bell ran a 4.65 so Bell sets that bar really low.
  11. I hear you guys on 4.41, but none of the videos show him beating people deep. It's all physical catch stuff.
  12. He runs away from no one. He's got very little wiggle. He's a big, physical guy, who catches everything. But everything I see says he route running needs a lot of work. I don't know...struggling with this one...
  13. Very interesting graphic. For those that never saw Dan Marino play coupled with the way the rules and the game have changed…that 1984 season he had…incredible.
  14. @btownqbmentioned how young we are. Maybe we are starting to see some growth?
  15. Are you guys done talking about Purdue yet?
  16. I'm guessing he wasn't in the two deep with the conclusion of spring practices???
  17. Already being discussed on the college hoops across the nation thread. Just an FYI.
  18. Trust the coaching staff. I’m sure they know more than anyone here does and have enough information to plan properly.

  20. I’ve been hearing rumors about this for a couple of years. Is there anything that says this is definitely coming or is it just getting more of a push from some areas?
