Good to hear that about the Moderna one too. The only “side effect” I had with the Pfizer one was a sore arm the next morning (sort of like when you were younger and someone would punch your arm with their knuckles out). We’ll see what the booster is like next week.

Looking at this real quick like while I have a second at work (so not able to “quote”) I’m not sure if there is a process to ensure as many people as possible have a follow up. I have seen sone people 3 or 4 tests. I know, for awhile, they were just swabbing anyone and everyone that went to the collection areas (fairgrounds, etc) so maybe they would just do it on their own I would wager to bet there IS a chance that some aren’t getting the follow up test to check their status. Maybe they just figure “I feel better so I must be done”. I don’t really know. There are many people who aren’t too good at listening to their provider.

So I say that (no positives) and now I’ll probably have some tonight. Getting ready to head there now....so we’ll see.

It’s usually once their repeat PCR test comes back negative or they get the antibody test that comes back negative for IgM antibody. The positive IgM would mean they could have CURRENT “infection”. Positive IgG basically means they had it and now have made antibodies against it. At least that is they way I have understood everything at work for how they have characterized as an “active” case.

I haven’t called a positive test in quite awhile. Go from calling 30-45 a day to this. Policies at the hospital getting less strict every day too. It doesn’t seem like we are handing out tests like candy anymore either so I guess take that for whatever it is.

And Namath was on Brady Bunch, that’s where I first remember seeing him.

With less money coming in now it’s very nice saving on gas every week. I fill up now for $20, sometimes, instead of over $40-45. Would probably trade the savings on gas for the second income coming in...soon it’s going to be sketchy with bills.

Even people not very sick getting tested here. We’ve had swabs come in from people with only “a fever in the last 14 days” and every other box checked ‘No’. Seem to be able to be tested if you just want it. Maybe that will be the way this is going, though not sure if that is that great. I think they should stick with the ‘only showing symptoms’. i can see some people feeling fine but getting tested. These people have a negative test and then go about being less careful with what they do thinking they are fine. Then in the next few days they get the virus but think it’s something else because “I tested negative” so they don’t seek help...... My hospital not seeing much yet. Last week we had maybe 7-10 patients on the floor , TOTAL, and ER was quiet compared to normal. Have to see what this upcoming week is like.

We’ve only been sending out tests for less than two weeks ( and they are taking about 3-5 days to get results back). So I agree with the thinking that positives are only going up because of more testing now. We probably send out at least 30 a day and that’s from a smaller hospital. No positives yet...that I’ve seen at least.

My kids asked why I don’t get to be home too. Told them I wish I could (spend time with family and SOO much I need to get done around the house) but hospital lab never closes so I can’t be. I know they knew that, I think it was just one of those things that hey we are all off why aren’t you...oh yeah😕 Anyway..... ready for this to be behind us. I took it as concerned about family/me getting it. THAT is a no. Concern, as in causing problems, to our economy I would say more so.
