I think this is going to be the new norm, at least for teams who have underperformed or whatever. I was just listening to a discussion about how Maryland is expecting a lot of turmoil/transfers, and they made the tournament, so I'm sure teams who had a  season like we did will see even more potential movement. 

One of the reasons I'm hoping they put an emphasis on recruiting with the new hire. Going forward, it seems coaches are going to have to recruit their own players annually as well as potential high school commitments.

I'm one of the few people left that would be ok with another year of CAM (barring a home run hire coming available), but if we come out flat and listless against Rutgers, I think that doesn't really leave any doubt about making a change now.

Smart a-- comments aside....are the Illini closer to OT wins vs Nebraska and single digit wins vs Northwestern? Or what? Not sure what to think about them. I know I'm on a crusade....or maybe it's just life in the Big 10. Tough crew to figure out. 

I think the B1G this year is just a group of teams that are pretty similar in talent, experience, and a number of other things, and it's just all about matchups in individual games.

Unless he's bringing Alford with him, I'm having trouble understanding how RMK showing up to a game is going to fix our outside shooting issues, among the other problems this team has on the court.
