Is someone saying that Justin Frye has rumored to have been hired? Or am I reading it wrong? I sure hope not. That would be disastrous. OSU fans would applaud it. They can't stand him.

Chryst teams play fundamentally solid football. Something that we aren't used to.

ARE wouldn't even be talked about if he hadn't of played here. Just like Mike Woodson wouldn't be our coach if he hadn't of played here. Paul Chryst was 67-28 as a Head Coach. Yes, he's more attractive than a guy who's never even been a coordinator before.

Whether it's; Candle Chryst Fitzgerald Herman Creighton Fritz Cignetti I don't care. Hire a proven HEAD coach. No coordinators. No NFL position coaches. I am tired of gambling. Get a guy who has proven he can get the job done here.

These national writers have absolutely 0 knowledge of what's going on at IU. The reason they keep throwing out these "mid" candidates like Shepard, Wommack, Frye, Randle El, is because they think very little of us and expect us to make a risky, gamble hire on someone that isn't proven. Look at A&M. They were all saying they'd land Swinney, Day, or someone big. Apparently they weren't plugged in there either.

Dan Mullen would be good. We'd have a high floor with him.

I disagree. Indiana has lost a ton of guys on defense. And after all the years of Indiana playing you guys with their 3rd and 4th string QBs I don't want to hear about "Injuries."

They don't have to eat 20 million. You make payments. And if Allen doesn't sit at home for 4 years, it's less.

I hate when people say this. "If he's good for 2-3 years he'll be gone". Well that's 2-3 years of good football that we aren't used to!

Just remember kids. The buyout is not a "lump sum" payment. It's like buying a car.

How does the biggest team we've had in years, struggle with rebounding?

Jason Candle would be awesome. I'd even be happy with Justin Fuente being elevated. He's a good coach. VT gave up on him pretty fast.

I am definitely not a Kentucky fan. Lol. Lifelong IU fan here. Just not a huge fan of Woodson. It's not personal, I just have never felt he was the right guy.

This program peaked last year with Mike Woodson. He's just not a good fit for college basketball.

It's not hard to say no to Maryland. Most top recruits do.

No shooters on our team. When will this coaching staff make that a priority?

Devonte Green would be a welcome sight on this team. Lol. Woodson needs to get serious about recruiting guards because not having a backcourt of guys that can score is killing us.

What's funny is, I don't want to beat Illinois, MSU, and Purdue to get to a bowl game. I want to beat them because it's Illinois, MSU, and Purdue! Lol.

I won't be one of those guys that cheers for IU to lose just because of Allen. Who wants to go into the locker room and tell Aaron Casey that he doesn't deserve a Bowl game? Or Donovan McCulley. Those guys are all Hoosiers, and they wear the Cream and Crimson and I'll cheer for them every game.

Hey guys. It's my first post here. I was actually talking to a Syracuse insider on Twitter and he told me that IU offered to double this kids NIL from what Providence offered. I have no idea how credible that is, I just thought it was interesting.
