  1. For the life of me I can't figure out why we start Kopp. The guy can't D up and only impacts a game if he can shoot a wide open three. Get him out of the game and put Galloway in! And put in Rob for that matter with TJD on the bench. Go back to the line up that got us the lead!!

  2. Good home win! I think it's about time that Galloway takes the starting role and we use Kopp off the bench as a shooter only in limited minutes. I don't think it's any coincidence that we played our best ball in the last 10 minutes of each half when Galloway took over for Kopp. Been the same story for the last two games. Trey is just a game changer for this team and needs to be on the court as much as possible.

Watching that shot, I am still flustered how Rob is not a 42% three point shooter. It just looks so "right".

I swear it's all about his footwork. He's gotten himself squared up to the rim tonight with his makes. For the last couple years he seems to have his feet all over the place on those threes.

I’m on board with that, but he still doesn’t understand / nor has he been told that we DO NOT need him shooting EIGHT threes in a game. 2-8

And I don't mind him take the three after the ball has made its way around the court and clock is winding down. But after one pass to Race....way too soon and bails out the defense.

Word around the campfire is that Coach Woody rides XJ harder than anybody, and hopefully at some point it'll sink in...

    Run the team...

XJ just needs to calm down and initiate the offense. He can get his drives to the baskets or threes if necessary late in a shot clock. But he needs to get the ball moving in the direction of TJD every possession. And as a side note, Kopp should be veteran enough to know he just needs to plant his feet and shoot from three. Every time he puts in on the floor, bad things happen...usually a really ugly shot. These two guys have enough experience to avoid many of the bad decisions they are making.

I mean, he's shooting 48% from the field, 46% from 3, and has a 2:1 assist to turnover ratio. He does need to improve there, but the criticism is way overstated.

His teammates and coaches didn't do him any favors the last few minutes of the Wisconsin game.

This half he's 1/5 (1/4 from three...not his strength) with 4 TO's. That will get an earful from a fan message board, especially after what happened in Wisky.

So have we officially confirmed that XJ is the whipping boy this year?

If you're the point guard of the team and aren't making decisions that help the offense be successful, you're going to hear the criticism. His performance tonight looks more like his second half Wisky performance than some of the better games he's had this year. Poor initiation of the offense consistently because he's looking for his shot over getting his teammates involved.

You all are feeling the same as me so this is basically me trying a form of self healing.  What did we just witness?  At half I half joked with myself saying this will end up a close win.  Dumb not to expect a loss.  I remember Woodson demonstrating proper finger roll form and thinking there are other issues going on here.  Man, that half was bad.  Syracuse S16 bad, IPFW bad?  Gotta be close.

My self healing is the Tito's drink I made after the game.

Out. Coached. Terrible last 5 minutes.

Woodson should have recognized that Johnson was imploding in the second half and tried other options. He was a black hole. His endless terrible shots down the stretch were essentially turnovers. Time to give Lander the ball at times and get this kid experience moving forward. Can't see how he would be worse than what I saw from X and Rob tonight. Together there were 5/20 from the field...2/8 from the line.  It's been a while since I've been this angry after a game!!
