Thank you David Ross for the win tonight. Why in the world you take out Mills with two outs in the 6th with a 2 hitter. Even though there was guys on 1st and 2nd but the Reds hadn't hot him hard at all

So far in this game the Reds have is making another mediocre at best pitcher look like Cy Young. Mills has a 5.11 eta and over 7 on the road. So far tonight he is shutting out the Refs in the 4th. Mills for some reason pitches well against the Reds but not against anyone else.

On Indiana Sports Beat yesterday they were talking to Matt Taylor the Colts radio broadcaster. He brought up a good point that just look at the Colts and Pacers players and there are very few of them that does many advertising in the local media. He said if these professional athletes are not getting the local endorsement why would college athletes.

Well looks like the Reds is finding away to lose again with a throwing error by the rookie Lopez with two outs. Also SD is a good ruining team and a stem base got them in scoring position before the error. Last night the Reds brought in a lefty reliever with the bases loaded and we gave up a grand slam. To ight we had the bases loaded in the 7th and Winker grounded out weakly not the second baseman. A key play in tonight's game was in the 3rd and had already scored two runs and had the bases loaded. Stephenson was ahead in the count 3-0 and was against a guy who was just called up. Stephenson swung on 3-0 and popped out.

Well the Reds can't catch a break with rain delays. Last night it didn't start raining until after SF took the lead in a grand slam. Tonight Castillo had a no hitter through 4 and the Reds were up 2-0. After the delay Castillo gave up 3 runs to n 1.1 innings. Score is 3-3 in the top of the 8th. All of these games against SD except one was a 1 or 2 run game so they have been close. The main difference is the bullpen and that is why SD is good and the Refs are not

I wonder if a realtor could have a player do some advertising for them and give them a rental house for free

You have to wonder why the leading scorer off of a top team is transferring.

What is bad is that the Reds went 17-12 in June and lost two games in the standings. They finished the month 4-9 and was only 2 games out if first 2 weeks ago

I hope people around these kids have taught them about taxes because they will have to pay them. Also heard someone bring up if a kid signed a contract with a company for 2 years but the kid decides to transfer. Will that player have to repay some of the money by breaking the contract.

Well the Reds had one good inning against SD when the had a 4-0 lead after 1. Now a rain delay in the 6th the Reds are down 7-5. In the 6 games against SD they have given up 18 home runs.

Suarez is not in the lineup and Lopez starting at 3B. A not do great stat. Reds are 2-16 vs the Giants, Padres and Diamondbacks. Reds are 37-23 vs the rest of the league. They hav played 15 teams and ate .500 or better against 12 of those teams.

The Reds would have been better off if they kept the DH in the NL this year.

Suarez defense had been better at 3b than it was at SS. Also they said Lopez really hasn't played SS do who knows how that would go. At least Farmer makes all the plays defensively. You use to could hide a light hitting SS who plays great defense bit can't do that today.

I guess Larry Brown won't be talking to coach Woodson any longer. Wonder if IU ever offered Brown a job or did we not want to go that route due to his problems with the NCAA

I disagree that it is weaker so far because there are no #300+ teams on the schedule. The mid major teams we are playing are way better than the low majors we use to play.

Reds lose 5-4 and we can't beat the west division. There was 16 pitchers used in 9 innings and made for a long game. SD left 16 runners on base as they had 12 hits and 7 walks.

Suarez has been pretty much worthless the last two years. Tonight he is 0-4 with 4 K's and an error. His batting average coming in was .175 and was not much better last year

What is the date that the players have to decide to come back or not. You got Lidell at OSU, Dickinson at UM and the two at Maryland. Those players will be the difference for their teams from being really good to just a good team.

I really hate the shift and it cost the Refs one run in the 3rd and could have been worse. SD had runner on 1st with one out and Caratini a lefty hit a routine ground ball right where the SS should be playing but no one was there. It would have been an easy DP but it was a single. Layer SD got a run on a Sacrifice fly. By the way SD plays a fun game to watch and ate very fundamental. They have hit two Sacrifice flies tonight and use their speed well.
