It is called being realistic and no way any coaches like Wright, Bennett, Few, Self, Calapari, Izzo are coming to IU and leaving what they have now. College basketball is just a different game now than it was 30 years ago. Recruiting is done more nationally now than it was back then and you saw less teams coming into the state to take recruits. All we had to do was recruit 3 states and have a dominant team but that is harder to do today. Players are on TV every game no matter where you go today so your family can see you no matter where you are playing. More teams pay their coaches more today so they don't feel the need to keep changing jobs to get to the top of the Ladder. Social media has changed the game so much and now fans have way to much assess to the players and coaches. To me this gives coaches more of a reason to stay where they are already on the good side of the fan base.
