Time to.makr a big splash. I would be all in on Teddy
I read somewhere that Bridgewater could get around 30 mil a year and if that is the case I would pass.

Get him to Indy...
BTW...OG with 32 last night in a loss to the Nuggets.
Indy wouldn't be a good place for him since the pacers are stacked at that position with Brogdon, Holiday and McConnell.

JMV said all.the NFL guys are saying Rivers to Colts is going to happen but he heard from a very reliable source as he says that there is 0 chance that happens.
Heard that yesterday as well

What does this mean when they say the colts are vetting Rivers

Saw where someone tweeted that the Colts are interested in Clowney and rivers

You won't be able to beat the 5 first rounders Pace will offer up...
Hasn't he already given up all of his 1st rounder's for the rest of the decade?

Nah, give them their 3rd rd pick in the 2022 draft.
that is where I would start but doubt if that would be enough, maybe put Brissett and 3rd rounder.

The trade deadline is over a few weeks ago

To an extent, though beyond his own skill, part of what made Vinnie Johnson so good was that he played behind guys like IT and Joe Dumars. That goes back to my point. Beyond the X's and O's, substitutions, strategy, etc., IU needs more talent. Devonte Green would be a fine player behind a backcourt with two studs leading the way. When he gets hot your elite, when he's not hot you're still damn good. That's not the case right now, IU needs Green to be an offensive leader, he can do that from time to time, but he's not good enough to carry a team over a long stretch, certainly not a season.
That was where I was agreeing with you because right now he needs to be our Isaiah but he would be better as the micro wave.

And therein lies the problem with IU basketball right now. I like Green and I don't mean this as a shot at him, it's not his fault, but if Devonte Green is your best offensive weapon your team is not good. Devonte Green is a role player that can get hot, but at this level, if Devonte Green is your best offensive weapon that's a problem.
He should be our Vinnie Johnson of the Bad Boys.

Clearly Green is not our best player. However, this is true only due to his inconsistency. And not even half good, half bad inconsistency, but 20% good 80% bad. Like UConn several years back, we could beat anyone on any day if Green plays to his potential, just like Kemba Walker. In this regard, Green does have the potential to be our best and most important player. I don't care how Dakich says stuff, or care even if he says stuff. There is a point about how to deal with Green that we have been discussing for several years. Clearly we don't have all the facts, but few see Green as a positive. This is frustrating because we recognize that we need good Devonte to be a really good team. Without him, we might be better, but maybe not enough to make much of a difference. Dan has hurt feelings, which is sign that he loved IU and Knight, and felt rejected. These are the dangers of hitching your wagon to unpredictable people.
I agree DG is not our best player but he is probably our best offensive weapon when he is going right.

After having made a great deal of noise over the lack of reunions and former player involvement in the program...I'm guessing it didn't fit his narrative well enough to acknowledge them.
He actually was calling the next game on ESPN after out Purdue game so he couldn't be there

So... haven't listened to him for ever. But, what's up with my Roku ? Turned it on. Clicked on You Tube. And what do I get. DD.... live !
So... I think, what the heck. Maybe he has changed. No longer insulting IU fans. Well, not the case.
And in addition to calling us all clowns.... said Wayne Winston is the smartest man in America. WInston was saying Devonte Green was IU's best player. Imagine that !
Kind of like Chili's. Visited there five years ago. Ate. And said that's my fill for another ten years.
What was the context of the conversation and what did he mean when he called us a clown. Was it that we keep putting up with the losing or did he say that he thinks the fans ar epart of our problem.

I think we need Phinissee to develop. I am not worried about our frontcourt, our guards are what kill us right now. That is why I am hoping for a JC or Grad transfer at the 2 that can help fill the gap while the other younger guys develop.
No doubt that RP will be a key for this team to improve and he has to get totally healthy. it is not like most college teams have 5 great players in the starting lineup but if you have 3 key scorers to go with two very good role players I think that makes for a good team.

this is kind of what i'm saying. i'm not saying they won't be good long term players. i'm worried that we need at least one player to be a difference maker next year if we're going to be much better.
Couldn't that come from players already on the roster who just improves like TJD and Hunter developing into great players.

Great first half for the Pacers with them leading 68-45 at home against the Bucks. No Giannis tonight but the Bucks are 5-0 without him so they are still a good team. it kind of looks like maybe some of their players are looking forward to the all break a little early.
Might have spoken to soon because the Bucks has cut a 25 point lead down to 5 with 9 minutes to go.

Maybe now we know why Jamesis Winston throws so many interceptions. He is near sighted and he just got Lasik surgery.

Wow this Pacers team is looking almost unbelievably bad. I was optimistic since they're playing such awful teams the first few weeks with Oladipo back but they can't beat anybody. Can't wait for baseball to start.
Should have kept the bench in to finish the game because they brought the team back and got them the lead.

Another very slow start for the Pacers at home against NO and they are without there two best players. VO is not playing because it is a back to back games.

I will take sacrificing some February wins if it helps us win a first round series. I know that home court helps to win that first round but right now it's all about chemistry. Without Vic we wont get past 1st round but with that group working together I could see a conference finals appearance
Well at one time we were only a1 1/2 out of the two spot but that will be hard to get. If you are the 2 seed then in the 1st round you don't have to play one of the top 6 teams in the East. To me to get out of the first round being the 2 seed would be the easiest for the Pacers.

Pacers loses their 4th in a row with a 10 point loss at home to Toronto. It appears to me that McMillian is sacrificing wins just to get VO time late in the game. They had cut the lead too 2 with a little over 6 minutes ad bring VO back in the game and then Toronto finished the game on a 14-6 run. The ball just moves a lot better when VO is not in the game and it is just hard to watch. To me Brogdon's game has been effected since VO return and has not looked the same.
Also in the off season the pacers have to trade Myles Turner because it is not working with him and Sabonis together. the Pacers need more of a 6'10 athletic 4 who can rebound and play defense. Turner can block shots but he is not a good defensive player on his own man.

How bad is the Bulls because the Pacers beat them without Lamb, Brogdon, Warren and McDermott. For most of the game it was not even really close until the Bulls made a ate 4thquarter run.
