  1. Great game and got home to see the last 3 quarters. Went to see my son at ISU for family day and spent a good day there but had to leave early because my son bought tickets to the Pacer game tonight for him and his girlfriend. I guess now that he has a girlfriend now that I don't get asked to go to games with him any longer. We were suppose to go to the ISU game today but at the last minute we decided to just spend time roaming the campus because it was the first time y daughter got up to see her brother at ISU. sounded like we missed a great football games as well since ISU won in 3pt 51-48.
  2. Pacers also went into SA and spanked them as well.
  3. Was not a fan of extending his contract because I want to keep Sabonis long term over Turner. They don't seem to be able to play together so to me they have to choose one or the other and that should be Sabonis. To me Turner is not a tough enough player around the basket and can't rebound well enough because he can't hold his position. If it was me in charge I would have tried to trade him this off season but maybe they can do it next off season. Something just does not seem right with the Pacers and something is missing. The last few games they are not moving the ball like they did earlier and VO is trying to do to much at times which is hurting the team. Luckily last night VO picked it up in the 4th to seal the win against a bad Knicks team.
  4. My philosophy as a shooter is that the next one will go in and you need to keep shooting. I never thought when I was open and was able to get my feet set that I was going to miss that shot and that is the mentality a good shooter needs to take.
  5. To me for the Pacers to make the next step they need one more very good player to add to the starting lineup, probably at SF or PG
  6. Pacers really looked bad last night and just could not get their offense going last night. VO tried to do to much last night and the Pacers did not move the ball like they usually do. The bench got out scored like 55-15 so the bench did not show last night. Lillard and McCollum came in averaging over 50 points a game combined and the Pacers held them to around 34 so you would think the Pacers should have won that game.
  7. I shot 15 in one church league game making 11
  8. I always watched the Pacers even when they won 20 games a year in the early 80s. I just don't really find the rest of the NBA that interesting to watch but that is just my opinion..
  9. Whatever, but when the college season starts I will usually pick a college game over the Pacers
  10. I watch the Pacers and keep track of their team
  11. Actually have read where JJ Reddick almost signed with the Pacers but at the last minute resigned with the Sixers. His shooting coming off the bench would have been great but hopefully Evans can turn it around.
  12. Jim Ayello: #Pacers coach Nate McMillan says Tyreke Evans will not make trip with team to Cleveland but declined to specify why at this time. 2 hours ago – via Twitter jimayello Hopefully nothing real serious but don't like seeing something like this
  13. Saturday against Brooklyn they had 9 in double figures and last night had 7. the bench has been great every game except the game against Minnesota and if they can dominate like that then they will have a great season.
  14. When the Pacers move the ball like they did last night(34 assists) they are a very good team. When they struggle is when they don't move the ball or have no player movement.
  15. The only thing about the early NBA games that I have not liked is that there are way to many touch fouls called but all sports are about offense.
  16. That is a little ironic since Howard has been a big pain in the butt to his coaches through the years.
  17. Like I said in another thread veteran players in the G-league might not respond well to an 18 year old coming in and making way more than they are.
  18. Still rather play in college where you will get way more publicity than playing in front of 1,000 people every night.
  19. The series went 6 games and the Pacers won game 5 by 30 point. Also the Pacers had 4 in hand and should have won that game after Shaq had fouled out in the 4th. The Pacers lost that game in OT with Kobe hitting two big shots at the end.
  20. Not interested in Butler for the Pacers because I don't want his attitude in that locker room. The Pacers has good chemistry right now and play well together so we don't need to shake that up right now.
  21. The Pacers were in the NBA finals in 2000 so your 30 years is a little off. They also have been in like 8 Eastern Conference finals since 1994 which is 24 years so they have been serious contenders.
  22. Everyone played well except for Turner and Collison and the bench was great. I was not really for the long term contract for Turner because I feel like the Pacers will have to choose between Turner and Sabonis at some tine. To me they can't play together on the court for a long period of time and I would rather have Sabonis as the long term starter at center.
  23. For some reason my Xfinity package has lost the Pac 12 network and ESPN Classic in the last year.
  24. Actually he is probably better suited to play TE
