I can hear Dizzy now starting to sing "The Wabash Cannonball" and cracking open a Falstaff.
My mom said he sampled the product he promoted a little too much. I didn't really understand what she meant until some years later.
Yes, but Boiler knowing you love the Boilers as much as we all love the Hoosiers, somewhere in your brain you have an image of yourself groveling, crying, pulling out your hair, and screaming out how could they blow that game!
Wisky wasn't a bad loss in the sense that IU shouldn't have lost to them, but in the way it happened. IU had a blistering 1st half, and then went stone cold and still could've won but didn't. Not so much negativity as frustration.
Unfortunately this team is no better offensively than last year's team at this point even though I think we have better personnel offensively. The stats show it. KP offensive rank this year #70 and OE=107.2 and last year we were 70 and 109.1. Even with only 4 TO's in the half, the offense still stagnant. Just little flow there.
IU needs to come out in the first five minutes of 2d half and change tempo and score, and if not, we will be vulnerable in a grind it out game.
