I saw only the first half. Great defense, but this team has no concept of half court offense. How'd the second half go?

Defense incredible the first 10 minutes or so, but half court offense just plain bad.

We're much better offensively in half court with Galloway on the court. He knows what to do with and without the ball.

If CMW decides to follow through with the all court pressure to slow down opps offense as opposed to get steals, I think we will have a lot of guys play minutes especially at guard.

Lots of players cramped up in this game. OU apparently w/o their best player. Farrakan is good. Can get wherever he wants.

Oakland ranked #193 in Kenpom and Eastern Michigan #297. But looks like EM is much better than that. Can't wait for some real action!

Generally he handled these things on 2 or 3 step disciplinary procedure depending on the seriousness of the offense. CMW is familiar with this.

Thanks for bringing this article to the board IUFLA. This is one of the most favorable rankings for IU. Now we have to go out and prove we belong there. Ii seems to me that this year's preseason rankings are just all over the place much more than usual. Anyone else have an opinion?

We can take care of your lack of ingrained Purdue hatred. But PU will be very good this year. Think they only lack a PG.

Celts had lots of draft picks, good players, etc. and Stevens couldn't even get to the championship game let alone win the NBA crown. He finally lost the team as a coach, and he wound up upstairs. We'll see if he is more successful upstairs than he was as an NBA coach.

Did IU dodge a bullet with Brad? Celts hapless even with lots of talent. It's too early to tell. Brad went to NC final twice, but CMW hasn't coached even one regular season game, yet.

Yeah, offense pretty good yesterday, but defense took the day off. I don't even want to think about the defense next year. Yikes!

Thanks for the report. I'm getting even more excited, if that's possible, about the upcoming season! I think most of us expected Bates to be good, but it was a question of how quickly he develops. Sounds like he's on the fast track.

Will be interesting. They need some depth and 3-point shooting. But certainly a veteran team that made a long run last year.

Scheme-wise his defense had some holes, also. It's very hard to learn, vulnerable to the 3, and too passive off the ball (can't play passing lanes much in this D).

Wonder what Wilkerson's vertical and wingspan/height +/- were?

The more I hear about this young man the more I like him. Think we stole a real good one here.

Hitting the 3! Old news. Defense is really good. We can run and have a post threat. We got guys that can take it to the hoop. Just need to hit 3's to really make it tough to defend us in the half court game.
