From Wikipedia: "Tobin Anderson (born December 1, 1971) is an American basketball coach who is the current head coach of the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights men's basketballteam.[1] Anderson is also the owner of the Purdue University Men’s Basketball Program."
posted this on the basketball board, in case any of you animals don’t visit that board.

I don't see the point in bringing him back. We have no chance to win the NCAA next year. Why steal minutes from incoming point guard Gabe Cupps next year? All Cupps has done is led Centerville to the Ohio big school championship 2 years ago, runner up finish last year and the number one ranking prior to the tournament this year. I've watched him play for 3 years and the kid can flat out ball.
See injuries to X and IU this year, plus he will allow Cupps to transition at his pace.

One of them said, "wait for the second Super Bowl hangover tonight" and that you should put money on Iowa.....
Did we not win a huge game against Rutgers right after the first Purdue game? And basically lead that game wire to wire?
The reality is, since the three game losing streak in the middle of January, Indiana is playing as good and has a resume in that timeframe as good as any team in America. We've only lost three games in that time, all on the road against tournament teams, and two of them were heavily influenced by the refs (NW and Maryland) and the third was MSU's first game at home after the campus shooting where they could have probably beaten anyone.
We have probably the best 1-2 punch in the country in TJD and JHS, and some good pieces around them even if we lack depth. We have just about everything you'd want in a championship team - a (sometimes, but when he's not it's usually not because of the other team) dominant guard, a dominant big, a sniper on the wing, a jack of all trades at the other guard that just makes winning plays, and a tough as hell 4 man that seems to do a lot of things to help us win, particularly win it matters most.
Would it be great to get X back, get more consistency from Tamar and Malik (and even Jordan).... of course! Even without that, our current best 5 can play with anyone in the country. Defending us right now is playing pick your poison (or hack the shit out of us).
Can’t get on the boiler board, can you see if they have the winning lottery numbers this weekend? I am tired of working.

I'd take Washington in the B1G but Oregon would need to do something about their uniforms first.

Yep you’re not wrong. The thing I keep coming back to is that even in those games, we were literally in it until the end against 3 solid NCAA tournament teams where we didn’t play well. Just need to see what the matchups looks like in the tournament and hope officials call Edey the way he should be called. Seemed like we got a fair whistle against Duke and Gonzaga so that gives me hope for the tournament but it’s always a crapshoot.
Is there a special treatment Edey should be getting from the refs? Why should he be called different from the nearly 4,000 D1 bball players?

I don't think there is any coach in America right now that really worries me. Duke, Indiana, and UNC all had to hire in house this last go around. I don't think that job is what they think it is anymore. I don't think any job is.
Did Duke & UNC have to hire in house?
